DeKalb list is not right Khalil Ladler was defensive player of the year and Mlk QB was offensive player of the year. you can’t be a selection and player of the year. The omissions are LB Dale warren and DB Cameron glenn both from Stephenson. The AJC needs to improve the info sources

what was your criteria for picking Defensive Backs?
Could not be 79 tackles 4int 2td
& Being the most FEARED DB in 4AAAA
Guess having losing record does not help
& coaches that prevent the Best athlete from playing Offense

But I would have put J’Vonte Herrod at RB and Tyler Queen at QB from North Cobb over the Hillgrove choices.

I can’t argue putting Queen over Ironside. I think Queen’s performance against Marietta and Colquitt might have something to do with leaving him off the list. I could also make an argument for Kirvonte Benson over Bagley. Either way, these two guys are still juniors and they’re time is coming

How do 2 Alpharetta student athletes whose combined tackles make it to the AJC list over a Mt. Pisgah student who was roughly 13 behind the their combined total. Where were the Alpha students in that 48-0 bloodbath at HOME vs Collins Hill. The Mt. Pisgah student was even with the 2 Blessed Trinity linebackers. Guy’s wake up their is football beyond AAAAAA, oh you know that, your all over the Vatican over in Roswell. You are a joke, Happy New Year!
