Butler 67, Mays 63: 6-foot junior Don Coleman led Butler with a tournament-high 31 points.
Sandy Creek 61, Southwest DeKalb 58 (OT) : Southwest DeKalb took a 27-23 lead at the half and sophomore Keith Gilmore finished with 21 points and eight rebounds but the Patriots outscored Southwest DeKalb 34-25 in the second half. Javon Jackson led Sandy Creek with a team-high 17 points and the Patriots survive to a perfect 7-0 record this season.
M.L. King 65, Stone Mountain 57: M.L. King extended its 48-35 third quarter lead following an offensive outburst from senior Miles Perdue. Perdue finished with a game-high 24 points and 13 rebounds.
Tucker 76, Gainesville (Fla.) 51: Host Tucker took a 36-27 lead into halftime and continued stifling Gainesville’s offense in the second half, outscoring them 40-24. Jon Dunmyer led all scorers with 19 points and his senior teammates, Shembari Phillips and Tyrell Thomas finished with 14 and 13 points, respectively.
Tucker 67, M.L. King 64: It was a close margin of victory, but the Tigers never trailed. Paul Jackson was lights out for M.L. King and finished with 29 points. Tucker was paced by Jon Dunmyer’s 19 points and senior Tyrell Thomas’ 14 points.
Tucker 74, Columbia 59: Jon Dunmyer continued his three-point barrage and was named tournament MVP after leading Tucker to the title of Columbia. A double-digit Tiger lead was cut to 51-44 going into the fourth quarter, but Tucker had doubled that lead with two minutes remaining and coasted to victory the rest of the way.
