TRIVIA

The Class A public-school division has three unranked teams in the semifinals. They are Charlton County, Hawkinsville and Marion County. What are the only two unranked teams to make the semifinals in other classifications or divisions? (Answer Tuesday)

Answer to Wednesday’s question: The four starting quarterbacks in the quarterfinals who are the sons of their head coaches were Hayden Sphire of North Gwinnett, Elijah Ironside of Hillgrove, Bailey Hockman of McEachern and Tyson Herron of Prince Avenue Christian.

Until 2004 Benedictine played in GHSA’s highest classification. Went to AAA for 2004 – 2007 then AA for 2008 – 2009, back to AAAAA for 2010-2011, then back to AA for 2012-2013.
