Class AAAAA roundup

By Score Atlanta

Creekside 42, Harris County 21: Creekside found itself tied 7-7 after one quarter, but eventually led 28-7 lead going into the fourth quarter. Dexter Knox scored both of his rushing touchdowns in the second half to put away the game for the host Seminoles. Felix Harper threw three scoring strikes for Creekside, two to Jayson Stanley and one to Evan Berry. Bricen Terry got the Seminoles on the scoreboard in the first quarter with a touchdown run.

Gainesville 51, South Paulding 12: Deshaun Watson threw five touchdown passes in leading host Gainesville to a rout of South Paulding. Watson’s first two scoring strikes went to Rodney Lackey, from 20 and 67 yards out. Orrin Ragland hauled in a 67-yard touchdown pass from Watson just before halftime. Michael Byrd found the endzone twice on the ground for Gainesville.

North Paulding 35, Stephenson 7: Brandon Townsend intercepted four passes and returned two for touchdowns—both in the first quarter—as North Paulding surged past Stephenson. The host Wolfpack led 28-0 after one quarter and held on after Stephenson cut it to 28-7 after three. Chase Noonan threw three scoring strikes, two to Mac Seagle and another to D.J. Owens.

Ware County 35, Northside-Warner Robins 7: A scoreless tie through the first quarter quickly turned into a rout for the Gators. Dedrick Mills carved out 156 yards on 12 carries with three touchdowns. Teammate Jaquez Bolds rushed for 113 yards. Additional scores came from Raekwon Chatman’s 40-yard interception return and a 20-yard pass from Jamar Johnson to Sammy Burley.

Warner Robins 42, Richmond Hill 28: Warner Robins led 35-6 at the end of the third quarter and almost let visiting Richmond Hill pull off a miraculous comeback. The Wildcats scored three straight touchdowns in a span of 1:17, but a 55-yard drive capped off by Danny Hite’s 2-yard score in the fourth quarter ended the threat.

Super night of high school football tonight! Some upsets and some near upsets……congratulations to all the winning teams, and to the teams on the other side of the ball going home, hold your heads up; there are plenty of other teams that were sitting at home tonight.

Tucker wasn’t out played. What game were you watching? Tucker as usual almost gave the game away with bad play calling and execution when we needed points. But honestly, Tucker should have blown this team away.

Wow we’ll take the win but that was some seriously awful play calling against East in trying to get one first down and ice the game…But East returned the favor in not trying to run their special teams out and try and game tying field goal

Tucker did pull out an ugly win, but one TD was called back after an interception on a holding call. They have to tighten up big time next against Ware County. A coin toss will determine where that bod is played.

Not much I can say about Mays’ loss other than that they need to get a kicker! and a new QB. only completing 4 or 5 passes out of 15 isnt gona cut it. That defense played their hearts only to get no help back. Congrats to Kell though. Wont take anything away from them. Score was 10-9 at the half but they pulled away

its funny MHSRaider09 mentions the word “kicker.” South Paulding didnt have a kicker tonight neither. smh thats 2 weeks straight we’ve played a team without a kicker. Coaches may want to start caring more about the kicking game… even though they probably do care more than I’m assuming.

As far as South Paulding, their players were playing dirty allllllllllllllllllllllllll night long. Sad thing is, the refs let it happen until we retaliated and got a flag for it. Regardless, we managed to get going after a rough start. If you wanna see some of the best catches in high school football, go to nfhsnetwork.com and watch the Gainesville vs South Paulding game on demand. They were putting on a show tonight!!!

jab GOING BACK TO WHAT YOU SAID BEFORE YA’LL KNOCKED OUT TONITE. WHEN STEPHENSON PLAYED PARKVIEW THEY WERE NO LONGER AN ELITE PROGRAM JUST A LOT OF TRADITION FROM THE LATE 90’s EARLY 2000’s. YOU ALSO MENTIONED S.GWINNETT AS APART OF THE BIG BOYS ??? EVERYBODY KNOW YOU FAILED AGAINST THE MAJORITY OF THOSE OTHER TEAMS YOU MENTIONED. THE KIDS PLAYING NOW DIDN’T EVEN PLAY AGAINST MOST IF ANY OF THOSE TEAMS YOU MENTIONED.

I HOPE YOU WERE NOT MEASURING THAT SO CALLED BIG BOY EXPERIENCE WITH THE COACHES YOU HAVE (we know you DON’T even want to go there, hahahahaa) THE REALITY IS STEPHENSON IS A PERENNIAL FAILURE IN THE PLAYOFFS.

ALL THAT TALENT AND CAN’T BREAK THROUGH, I BET YOU THOUGHT STEPENHSON WOULD WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP LAST YEAR WHEN YOU WERE TO SCARED TO MOVE UP WITH THE BIG BOYS IN 6A. WARE COUNTY SHOWED YOUR BUTT AND THEY DONT EVEN PLAY IN A SO CALLED BIG BOY REGION. . EVERY YEARS ITS THE SAME RESULTS. TIME FOR NEW BLOOD AT THAT SCHOOL TIMES HAVE CHANGED. AND STEPHENSON IS NOT A POWERHOUSE JUST A GLORIFIED REGIONAL CONTENDER AND PROBABLY HAVEN’T WON THE REGION IN 4 OR 5 YEARS.

“Much respect for your qb and rb. They have both been very productive. With their talent, I’m sure y’all will hit a few big plays and may even score once, twice maybe three times if you are lucky and we give you a turnover or two.

However, almost everyone agrees that your defense can’t contain the elephant offense. Gvilles gonna light y’all up like a Christmas tree made out of Roman candles. Don’t be surprised if we have 28-35 pts on the scoreboard. And that’s at halftime. Final 52-21.

It’ll prolly be close for a while, make the gville fans a lil uncomfortable and give you Paulding folks a false sense of “hey, we just might be able to pull this off!”

But then as crazy gville Steve says Boom!! TD Watson! And then our D gets a pick 6 and then Byrd jukes a dude and dwatson stiff arms a sucka while dragging another chump into the end zone.

Don’t believe it? Wait n see”

Pretty darn close except it was 51-12. Oh well.

Next Friday at home again!!

Tucker High,

Please, please….please! Can you coaches not screw this up for the kids. You are not putting them in position to win. They are a talented bunch and have bailed you coaches out of trouble once again. Coaches, you must have more than one defensive package in your playbook. This 3-3-5 is not the defense for every offense. You must be able to adjust with different fronts. East Paulding gutted the middle of that D. Why not if it’s going to get me 4-5 yards a pop. Coach, this staff is frustrating to watch. Your players even question your schemes by their body language and behavior on the sidelines. Coach, how hard can it be to switch from a 3-3-5 to a 4-3 with the same personnel on the field? Not hard at all!

Now, let’s talk about this offense….if that’s what you want to call it. Coach, it seems to me that y’all made too many wholesale changes tonight. I wonder what this offense would look like in an I formation with that type of talent. Just imagine a fullback blocking for those speedy backs or faking a block and squirting out to the flats. Coach….you gotta do better with the play calling. EP gave you the outside all game and your stubbornness insisted on going up the middle. Just Wow!

Tucker, I am with you all the way no matter what but this coaching is very frustrating.

I am so disappointed in the Tucker play calling. If you coaches don’t wake up, you’re going to be the reason this team checks out early. Offensive coordinator is too passive. Speed was your friend but it’s obvious that you don’t know that! Why was their a linebacker sitting back at the safety position? I really question your intellect at this stage of the season. Penalty flags seem to follow thus team no matter where they go. I’m glad you won but you really need a brand new offensive coordinator. You were out coached tonight.

Never fear JAB is here, just got home from that long ride in da woods, @ WeAreNorth, my car GPS could find NP address, my Iphone GPS was sending me to EP, I stop by a station down the street from EP, they had some hand written directions on directions to NP, needless to say I got there just before kick off, I went on your side and walk in front of the elite ticket seats, stood there for a while and looked up but I didn’t see anybody signaling for me in the rain, so I ask the ticket booth people can I go over to my JAGS side. I really appreciate the invitation…!!!

First and farmost, I would like to congratulate the North Paulding coaches, team, and bloggers on a good win. I have no excuses but for the life of me I can’t believe that 1st qtr. 28 pts. scored on my JAGS in the 1st qtr. You guys have done something that nobody has every done to my Jaguars all year long, as far as that, in the JAGS entire history. That was the most pts. score on the JAGS all year long,

I’m eating my crow right now and reminiscing about the game, A bomb thrown in the 1st 15 seconds of the game, then my Jags drive down the field with no problem right outside the rezone, and throw an interception in the endzone, 2 plays later NP throw another bomb, 14 -0, kick off to my JAGS we throw and interception, NP walks into the enzone, we get the ball again another interception results in another NP TD. 28 – 0 first qtr. However after that the defense begin to play. Rivers had one of his best games, he was unstoppable. Take-away that 1st qtr. still can’t believe it…

@ CREEKSIDE-THE NOLES, without even meeting you I can tell that you have very little class and are very illiterate dude. But of course I’m gonna root for region 6 5A which we are still the SEC of high school football, that game was like Missouri beating up on UGA Lol., @ CREEKSIDE-THE NOLES, I have no more further dealings with you and will ignore any more of your insane comments, because I’m sure the community of Creekside is bigger than you! Who writes their entire posts in Caps, Lol.,

My JAGS went down tonight but not out, they’ll be back next year…..@ Congratulations to our brothers Tucker in a surprisingly tight fight with EP but they pull through….
