Predictions: Three remaining No. 4 seeds will extend their seasons again

Region champions went 37-3 in the first round of the playoffs, leaving Peachtree Ridge, Alexander and Cedar Grove as the only remaining No. 4 seeds. Expect all three to continue their postseason runs this week. Look for Peachtree Ridge to handle Dacula in AAAAAA, Cedar Grove to beat Ringgold in AAA, and Alexander to edge out Lanier in AAAA in one of the most even matchups of the week. Also go with North Gwinnett over Archer, Carrollton over Monroe Area and GAC over Calhoun in three of this week’s highest-profile games.

THE WEEKEND PREDICTIONS

North won’t score 30 much less cover 30. 3 point game either way. Won’t be an upset if Archer wins, only some upset bulldog fans. Archer is underrated and need this win to earn the respect they deserve.
PR should handle Dacula. Dacula is a tough team but loose by 14.
Brookwood can’t win this one, that’s your 30 point game.
I haven’t seen Alpheretta play, but I’d been shocked to see them win. Collins Hill by 20 in a high scoring game. CC will score 50+
Don’t care about the rest it won’t matter next week all Gwinnett semis.

Raiders are coming for you Tigers. Get ready and have the tissue handy! South will definitely show Gainesville what there is to be worried about from the folks out in the sticks on the west side of town, My oh my! Brings me to the current pride of Paulding Co. Our beloved Wolfpack! Maxwell has North winning by 7. Pretty sure it’s going to be more than that but regardless, I’ll take a win by ONE! A win is a win at this level of play fellas. The game hasn’t changed any in the last 7 days. Show up, and do work. The team will take care of itself, and victory is all but certain. Let’s take this Dome by storm Paulding Co.!!

Gainesville by 50 with starters resting in the second half for the next victim next week.
Last weeks game against sorry MLK will go down as tougher than this joke of a game tonight.
Now SP folks can go back to cow-tippin or whatever you do with those cows on the side of the road.
Or just go bak to putting your players in home economics where we knew they excel very well.
Bake a cake anyone?? LOL!!

Well, on to the next one for us Red Elephants with our eye on meeting Creekside in the dome for 5A so we can shut their mouths like we did Ware last year.

Creekside Noles……………do your thing with all those pansies on your side and bring your A+ game to the dome so the embarassing beatdown on national TV we are saving for you isn’t too much to stomach. Send Harris packing so you can shut up those loudmouth North Cow Tippers. I dont even feel like reading these blogs next week after they beat up on undisciplined Stephenson because they will be shouiting their King of the World crap. So I’m pulling for you to beat the crap out of them and your side of the brackjet is done. The rest from the botton are all jokes. We will be looking for you atthe dome as you said. Take care of your business and watch how we take care of ours.

@Gainesville-Sleeze – It’s a long road to the Dome and it goes through North Paulding. Better get your game up if you expect to beat South Paulding. You need to stay focused on making sure you can beat the team in front of you before you go public with blasting about beating another team. Call SP cupcakes all you want. They’re going to hit you in the mouth, and with #55 being your best tackler, he can’t match the speed of Burkes. They’re going to throw over the top, and with your corners blowing coverages you will need halftime to get them some oxygen just to keep them in the game.

When Burkes hits a seam, finds a whole on the edge, or throws for 70% completion, don’t come back on here blaming anyone but YOURSELF for overestimating and writing them off. South has a good team, and they’re ready. They want nothing more than to take down the returning state champs, and believe me they are more than capable.

Get your weight up if you ever want to try us again. Them cows we tippin’ ain’t light cuz. We’re in it to win and are WELL represented in these playoffs. Take that chicken slingin’ swagger somewhere else boy, we ain’t about it and we’ll show you how grown men play the game of football.

To my boys in crimson and gold, do your thing! The navy and silver have your back!

@WeAreNorth…………..so you say the road to the dome goes through North Paulding??

One of those cows you tipped must have fallen on your head. Don’t speak while suffering from a concussion “Cuz”! Creekside is a different league and I know for a fact you havent seen us or you wouldnt speak like that.

The only hint I will share with you is that this is an offense that will spread you and run it down your throat at will on any play they choose. This defense has speed (REAL SPEED) that others will die for; and don’t get me started about the fastest football player in Georgia if not the SouthEast. He may be one, but we have many others with speed almost as close.

So we welcome your belief that he road to the dome is through you. You might be right if you meant that it is through you UNTIL YOU MAKE IT TO CREEKSIDE!!

Creekside Noles will completely wipe North Paulding off the field. Focus on Stephenson and beat them if you hope to meet us in the next round. Until then keep dreaming as we march toward our final destination of the GEORGIA DOME!

@Creekside Always – Trust me we are focused on Stephenson. I don’t recall saying ANYTHING about you, but you are welcome to invite yourself anytime. It’s childish to think we can’t play with you. You obviously don’t know anything about North, or you would realize we run the same exact offenses and we practice with the same exact offense. If you are to make yourself believe that we can’t play with you, let us get past Stephenson, you get past Harris Co, and THEN, only THEN will I awake you from the nightmare of Creekside having to line up against North Paulding. These two teams should NEVER been in any conversation prior to next week, and I should have never entertained you. Best wishes to your Seminoles tonight sir. I would expect nothing but the same from you regarding North Paulding. Till we meet on the field sir, good day!

@Creekside Always – You can take that flamboyant, arrogance stuff somewhere else. The road IS through North and we WILL NOT allow you to treat us any other way but with respect, and honor. You can talk all that crap all you want, I get the chip on your shoulders, but you need to tone it down a notch. Humility looks better on you than arrogance, you should try it. We’ll let the chips fall tonight where they. If the dust settles and in both of our favor, I don’t care WHERE we play you, but WE will treat you with respect, and we WILL treat you kindly. The boys on the field on the other hand, they’ll just have to slug it out amongst thereselves, but it will be between the hashes, going North/South, and you’ll definitely need your fastest person in GA b/c that is the ONLY way you’ll keep us from scoring after the catch.

Unbelievable. I’m done with these blogs.

The road to the dome rolls through Region 7. Region 7 is the SEC of GA High School Football. Do you homework fans…. Do your homework. Gwinnett County Teams Statically have an 89% chance at the title (Region 7 and 8). All other regions have a 1% Chance. FACTS not fiction or hope. Gwinnett County Stand Up…….. Wish all the Region 7 teams good luck tonight. All 4 are still playing and will be playing next week. (Eagles, Blue Devils (Defend State Champs), Bulldogs and Lions)

@WeAreNorth – don’t mistake my confidence in our Creekside team as flamboyance or arrogance. My intent is to help YOU put a stop to YOUR flamboyant and Misguided nonsense regarding the road to the Championship…….It is your words Cuz that got this all started:

“….The road IS through North ….” as you so eloquently stated TWICE now. Don’t believe that you have done anything of worth to qualify you to make those kinds of statements; and I for one will not allow those words to go unchecked. You better win tonight or the only road you will become familiar with is the ruturn home with your chins on your chests.

Your comment about running the same offense as us is laughable. Don’t let our intelligent coaching decision to go with a vanilla offense last week fool you into a false state of confidence. We might even do the same against Harris tonight. No need to show your hand when the competition does’nt present a threat. We would do the same against your team, but Stephenson; now that’s an athletic classic I am sure will be something worth talking about. You North, are just not in the conversation even though I expect you to beat Stephenson tonight.

Stop the bloviated nonsense about how good your team is. You are practically bringing the same team to these playoffs. You have won one game so far like everyone else and suddenly you are the one-to-beat if anyone wishes to raise that state trophy. Pay attention to the AJC and Maxwell ratings Cuz. AJC/Maxwell is hitting at an average of 0.820 to 0.898 weekly and last I checked, they show Creekside winning it all. Do you see anyone around here thinking about North?

Find your friend G-Ville Stupid and keep raising our food supply.

New Indian Dad, I am with you. I think the game between Camden and Hillgrove will be close. Certainly no blow out like last year anyway. If Camden plays Hillgrove like they did Colquitt, we win. If they come out playing like they did against Brunswick (we lose bad!) That being said, they are ready to play. Safe travels to all! Tomorrow should bring some interesting discussion!

Oh what a tangled web you’re weaving Creekside one. That road WILL lead through North. We’ll just let the stars line up to prove it. In the likely event we do face each other, best wishes to both of us tonight, you’ll see that we play the same offense and defense. Regarding your players be better and faster, you’re going to need them. We’ll pick this little chat back up a little later. Right now I’m heading to tailgate with my brethren and you and Creekside will be the last thing from my mind.

As for our team being the exact same as last year and should both of us win, please prepare for us that way. Remember last year as we were a lil ole number four seed and we’re pick to lose by more than two scores, don’t let the same thing happen to you. I’m done with you sir. God speed and good luck tonight. Wish you we’ll and all of the players a safe and exciting game. We’ll chat a little later.

@ Chip, you missed it on the Ringgold/Cedar Grove game big time. What in the world were you thinking? If you would have watched the Ringgold Tigers play a game, you would have known they are a very good team, and can go as far as Slade Dale can take them. You chose Cedar Grove because you knew nothing about Ringgold. Just callin it like I see it.
