Region #6 may be the best region in AAA, as seen tonight. WA going to Buford should be interesting, but it will take what Al Michaels once said: “Do you believe in miracles?”

Last time Buford faced a private school they only managed to score 10 points. If Woodward plays solid fundamental football like I know the private schools can, they have a good chance to win.

I didn’t go to the North Hall game, Son of Waco. I took a ride to Cleveland and watched White County take on Adairsville. So I can’t answer you as to how that North Hall defense allowed 55 points other than the possibility that they were still a little deflated after last weeks loss to Buford.

Snoopy, I am not sure about Buford rolling over AAA this year. I am from Jefferson County and as much as I hate to admit it, WACO has something special brewing this year. We had a pretty solid season going until we ventured off in to the House of Pain….. We still have not fully recovered, we were sporting one of the top 10 scoring defenses in the state and they dropped 40 on us before we knew what hit us…. That is all I am going to say about that subject, this is why we play the games. However if we can get by Carver next weekend, we will get the first crack at the Wolves and I will be looking forward to it. The one and only time we played Buford, they beat us 31 – 0 and that has not set well with the community cause that was the only game they were shut out all that year…

We love your hate and turn it into positive energy, so when we need a little more to push us over the top, we appreciate the energy boost and memories. Yes we take your Booyah and use it against you!
@ Waco and house of pain, & etc. blah, blah, blah, you keep referring to so many things you have no knowledge. Really, more money than Nick? WACO is almost twice the size of the city of Buford, so you are clearly the bully in this fight.
Washington County, Georgia
Founded February 25, 1784 Named for George Washington
Population (Est.) • (2011) 21,111
Washington County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. It was established on February 25, 1784. As of the 2010 census, the population was 21,187

Buford is a city in Gwinnett and Hall counties in the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 12,225
You keep referencing Gwinnett County, did you notice that Buford was expanded and is now in Hall County as well.
Anyone that has talent probably thinks about coming to Buford, notice I didn’t set any boundaries to just Gwinnett County. Students have transferred into Buford from Marist, GACS, Wesleyan and list goes on and on.
Did you know that two graduates from Buford football have super bowl rings and get opportunities to go to colleges like Notre Dame, Clemson, Alabama (received National Championship rings), LSU, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Auburn, & on and on.

Or these same smart people could go to WACO, and go to work cutting pine trees, NOT! LOL :-)
Maybe you should take up some reading and get your facts straight and stop whining.

@GreenNGold…..I have no hate…..the Nick piece is a nice little joke and jab…..football is all fun for me. May Buford continue their strong program, win many more state championships, and even an national championship…..I will live on to want to see more football next season and the season after that…..only one team can win the day, unless the rare tie…..win or lose, we all still live.

I am definitely not a diehard Alabama fan. I like the Red and Black, but I love the SEC as a whole and good college football. I have lost nothing in my life with the success of Bama. I love to watch them Bama play and succeed….its all good football.

Yes, WACO is the big bully. Review the reclassification numbers for 2014-2015. WACO is truly a bully to Buford High even though we have almost 300 less students than Buford.

Have a lil fun…..play ball…..WOOF WOOF.

MLB, It was a 40yard miss, but not by much. C’ville was lucky on this one . C’ville played about as bad as they could, nothing like rest of year, but hats off to W Hall, they came to play every minute and nearly pulled it off.

7-AAA people say that and maybe it can be a good shootout.. I see it as just another blowout because every team they beat this year either didn’t make the playoffs or was blown out in the first round… Everyone saying how young they are but last year WACO played a bunch of sophomores on defense and never cried wolf one time…

This Panther fan is no longer angry, the kids played hard last night in Peach County. Chapel Hill with all the disrespect in our own county represented well in Fort Valley. Our program is decent and strong and I am proud to call myself a Chapel Hill Panther fan. Hopefully next year the upward trend will continue.

Region 7-AAA don’t travel to WACO unless you have a ticket, without one you will be turned away. I believe their games are sellouts and their county officials strictly enforce the codes despite it being an outdoor venue. Hate to see anyone travel down and can’t get in.

Congrats to all of this weeks winners and I had a chance to see the best game of the week featuring BEST Academy and Carver Columbus. By far the best game of the night (3OT). Great finish and when I think about a real win for the BEST program(even with the loss) who is in its 1st year with a senior class. 35 kids on the team and about 18 of them played but they played very well. 38 to 32 final verses a top 5 team… great job!!!

Non football related: Let’s give a shout-out to WACO’s own Allisha Gray who plays basketball for UNC @Chapel Hill scored 15 points,10 rebounds in a loss to Univ. of Tennessee and followed that up with 30 points against UCLA in a 10 points victory this past Sunday in Los Angeles. Her brother is the starting quarterback for the WACO Hawks football team.

Shout Out!!! To Ms. Gray..

I love it when these kids move on (up) & do well at the next level… It’s that level where they go from boys to men & girls to women… & that, my friend is what this is really about… (I know there’s a LOT of mud slinging about who’s better, yatta yatta yatta, but GROWING the young people is what is SHOULD be about! BTW… I have NEVER slammed a kid by name EVER.. The school, maybe.. I will PROP a kid & of course my schools)

Ron is a real weird guy.. One min he slams all the people of WACO and the sport program, then I guess since he reads in a paper/internet that someone from WACO is making big noise nationally he’s ready to put his WACO flag up.. “Going by his own words” If she just make it to the WNBA and don’t be an All-Star or win a Championship, she will somehow be a failure in his opinion.. That guy is a real weirdo….

Region 6-AAA proved why they are the best Region in AAA. Yes, at the end of the day, this is all about which team is the best in AAA but couldn’t resist the callout. We will see what Buford can do against one of 6-AAA’s finest, Woodward. I think although WA has two great athletes in Googer and Holyfield, Woodward is soft overall but am certainly pulling for ANYBODY that plays Buford! Let’s go Woodward – beat Buford! We know at BT that we will have a battle with White County, they are a sleeper and we are certainly NOT underestimating them as Cartersville did with West. Can’t wait to check the box scores on Friday Night and see WA winning over Buford!!! Will be a nice way to send them up to AAAA !!!

Buford seats approx. 6,0000 on the home side & approx. 3,000 on the visitors side.. Home side is always packed & the visitors side usually…

Should not be a big deal to pack your place during the playoffs, unless it’s pouring rain & 30 degrees..
