Maxwell cpu ratings state that 5A team are ranked:

#1 – Gainesville
#2 – Thomas County Central
#3 – Creekside
#4 – Tucker

Do I need to say more? Oh, mighty and powerful Regions 2, 5, and 7, I see that none of your teams cracked the top 4. But you are supposed to be tough? LMBO. Oh and the so called SEC of HS football you did barely make the top 4 only because none of you all beat Tucker yet, but if we see them we will take care of that. But where is mighty Stephenson and mighty N. Paulding, MLK, S. Paulding, Toona, NSWR, Kell, Ware and Warner Robbins? All has-beens!!

Watch out 5A, the Kings of the “Hurry up Offense” are gonna end your playoff vacations as they start their repeat for State. Make sure your defense gets some rest because we dont huddle!! and even though you are aware of that you cant stop it………Just ask WARE LOL!!!

Go Elephant Nation!!

Ware will be back

@Gainsville-Steve you sir are a clown.
I have seen your blogs.
Do you have a man crush on Deshaun or are you just a G-ville Groupie? Don’t think for one minute that teams will not be ready for your hurry up offense.
You better worry about your defense.

@BWolves
come up here and play withthe big boys where you are supposed to be. Leave that 3A ball alone.
Before you go to saying that you all beat us already. I accept that. But can you come up here and play us year in and year out while you face tougher competition in Reg 5. NOPE!!
Heck, go to 4A and earn your stripes before you come back on here. I don’t respect your JV championships anyway.
Talk about a real champion—-Gainesville Red Elephants!! 2012 and about to destroy 5A and do this again in 2013. I dont see anyone in our way. Not Flowery Branch, definitely not Martin Luther King, they are a joke anyway and Stephenson better pray they dont have to come up here.
Ware coubty. I see you already won your region. GOOD! you won something. Thats where it ends for you in 2013. Remember that hurry up Gainesville offense that confused the heck out of you guys in the dome last year. It is even more deadly now. Buford did well against it for a lot of reasons I wont disclose on this blog and Flowery Branch might do ok, but at the end of the day Branch will lay down and croak form getting run off the field. FB doesnt really have a defense, so this is really a weak rivalry game tomorrow. But we are going to shock 5A with our Oregon type offense. Every 2 minutes:

TOUCH DOWN!!

Don’t come up 985 expecting anything less than a blow out. This Gainesville team is not very nice once the game starts.
TOUCH DOWN!!!!!

Steve – DO you need me to bring out the FACTS on here & pimp slap you again!?!?!?

The ‘Ville is a Top 7 – 10 team in the state, yet just 15 miles south resides the team that OWNS the Red Elephants.

Regardless of classification, IF a team is better that another, they DO NOT get run over like road kill 5 outta 6 times (the only loss the Wolves had in the series is 19-15)

Your shtick has no sound foundation.. Facts are facts…

Hey WolfDawg, I just heard you all are over in Jackson county recruiting the big 6′5″ 265 lb 9th grader and his 10th grade brother who is also 6′5″ and 225lbs. I know the family. They are originally from Oconee and are very good people. These kids are the best kept secrets in the state and I would hate it if they end up at Buford but as long as you all get them into college I’m cool.

Thats the only way you all win every year, but play up and lets see how you fare over 10 games with better competition every week.

@WolfDawg … regardless of what I think about Buford as recruiting and other stuff, I’ll give you 3 of those wins being in ‘04, ‘05, and ‘13. ‘10-’11 were rebuilding years. Gainesville was recouping after the loss of Sims and company. Our offense was “pooh” compared to where it is now… lol

Steve – Those boys parents went to Buford to inquire about transferring & they are ponying up $2,000 per kid…

Get the facts straight… The parents went to Buford to speak with Coach Dexter Wood…

The facilities & academics sold their parents that their boys have a better chance to be better prepared for college, weather they play football or not..

If you really know them, you’d KNOW that…

@ its…. So… Do you want an * by 49-0 & 42-16 BEATDOWNS!! If the score were like say 19-15, you might have a point… Your offense scored 7 points vs Buford.. & you only scored 7 more vs the JV team… So do you think Buford “regressed” since making ROADKILL outta you in your own crib???

BTW – I know you as a City school have kids that are outta district… All good City schools do.. Decatur in hoops, Calhoun in football… But for some reason no one can compare to Buford this century!

@Wolfdog no one paid $2,000. They cant afford it. That woman works 2 jobs to take care of her 6 boys and 3 grands. Sorry Suckers!! One of them is 18 and all he does is sit around and chew tobacco and is always scratching like he has an itch. I think he might be a crackhead. You know how all crackheads like to scratch the side of their neck when they talk to you. Thats this dude. I for one am glad the other two boys going to Buford because they need to get out of that environment. I dont care if they were recruited. They are good boys. All of them were good football players but none of the older ones went anywhere except to the corner to buy beer and snuff. Maybe these two could get their mom outta there.

@WolfDawg … I wasn’t trying to go there, but really, when has Buford ever had a team when 90% of the talent were kids that were homegrown from the community? Nobody else in the state has that many good kids coming through their program like that. Most programs experience a down year, or a slight down year. There are alot of great programs in the state, but no other program in GA has as many transfers as Buford I bet. And with that said, Buford better be a championship team EVERY year. B/c if yall dont win state, what’s the use of having all those recruits. Buford is basically an AAU travel team.

@ Mr. Maxwell – Buford is the runaway #1 team in the state? Rubbish Mr. Maxwell.

Maybe a squeak by on a given night. But that’s it.

All 63 teams in 6A have a stronger SOS. Heck. 6 teams in 2 A have a stronger SOS. Even Our Lady of Mercy in 1A has a SOS close to Buford.

Much more weight should be given to SOS in your formula. How can you not see that?

@Wolfdog – How about the real story? Those boys Parents were approached by Buford boosters and informed they need not be concerned about the $2,000.00 per student required to transfer to Buford. Though I will not say other incentives were probably mentioned. I would not doubt it.

And I am sure it is all strictly legal to the letter of the law and will withstand any close examination.

I agree with Gainesville-Steve. Good for the kids and I sincerely hope one or both of them go on to pro ball and make life easier for their mom.

But… Is it fair to the competition? No. Is it morally right? No. Will it change? No.

The GHSA is no match for the Buford alumni, boosters and TD club leadership.

The entire state is calling Buford out. If you are going to play something akin to pro ball behind a wall of fraud. At least play up. Your pride in Buford’s overstuffed trophy case makes me want to puke.

Hey. I’m just saying. Just my thoughts. I could be wrong. Yeah. I probably am. Please forgive my wild accusations.
