@Hoop Scoop; why would any parent want their child at a school that takes basketball seriously, has good academics, facilities, coaches who care, winning teams, players getting scholarships, et al? What are those public schools offering? Free books? Players go to where the best coaches re; period. And nobody can make you go anywhere you don’t want to go. About 100 schools have move-ins; most don’t win at a high level.

Lets cut it out with the recruit nonsense. Lets be honest…the parents recruit the school. Whatever talent your child has, you as the parent should explore the possible option to nurture that talent…WHATEVER THAT TALENT MIGHT BE.

Hoopscoop, why don’t you let that cut under your nose heal? The only thing you’re scooping is manure. After all these years, and years, if there was anything to the mindless drivel about recruiting at certain schools, even the GHSA would have ferreted it out by now. Case in point—Milton. Didn’t take that situation very long to shake itself out, did it?

Hoopscoop = tool.

Parent recruit schools and coaches recruit kids! Please believe it happens! There are great coaches at schools that never win championships! Saw video of these “great” coaches and wasn’t impressed!
