Here are the playoff scenarios for each region heading into the final weekend of the regular season.
*Region 1: Thomas County Central, Lee County, Harris County and Bainbridge have clinched the four playoff berths. Thomas County Central (8-1, 4-0) will be the champion with a victory over Harris County (7-2, 3-1) or by holding Harris to fewer than 30 points. In the event of a three-way tie with Lee County (8-1, 3-1), points allowed in the three games between those teams will be the tiebreaker. Thomas Central has allowed 14. Harris has allowed 44. Lee has hallowed 52.
*Region 2: Warner Robins, Northside of Warner Robins and Houston County have clinched playoff berths, and Lakeside of Evans is likely to get the other one. Evans could take Lakeside’s spot, but only if it upsets Northside and Lakeside loses to Warner Robins. Warner Robins will be the champion if it beats Lakeside. If Warner Robins loses, Northside will be the champion with a victory.
*Region 3: Ware County, Richmond Hill, Glynn Academy and Effingham County have clinched the four playoff berths. Ware County is the region champion, and Richmond Hill is the runner-up. Glynn Academy will clinch third place with a victory over Jenkins or an Effingham County loss to Ware. If neither happens, Effingham finishes third and Glynn Academy takes fourth.
*Region 4: The winners of the four play-in games will be the region’s playoff teams. Those games are: Ola at Creekside, Drew at McIntosh, Whitewater at Union Grove, and Northgate at Mundy’s Mill. Creekside (9-0) will be the champion with a victory over Ola (2-7) as the highest seed from its subregion to win this week. The first tiebreaker is head-to-head result. Division B winner Creekside did not play Division A winner Mundy’s Mill. In the second tiebreaker, Creekside has the better overall region record.
*Region 5: North Paulding, South Paulding and Allatoona have clinched playoff berths. East Paulding gets the other spot if it beats Allatoona or if Rome loses to Woodland of Cartersville. Rome appears set to take fourth place if it wins and East Paulding loses. North Paulding will be the champion with a victory over Villa Rica. If North Paulding loses, South Paulding will be the champion with a victory over Lithia Springs.
*Region 6: The winner of the Tucker-Mays game will be the region champion and the loser will be the runner-up. Stephenson has locked up third place (as well as an intriguing first-round matchup in the playoffs with the Flowery Branch-Gainesville loser). M.L. King will be the fourth-place team if it beats Miller Grove or if Arabia Mountain loses to Lakeside of Atlanta. Arabia Mountain gets fourth place if it wins and M.L. King loses.
*Region 7: The winners of the four play-in games will be the region’s playoff teams. Those games are: Kell at Cambridge, Riverwood at Northview, Pope at Sequoyah and Sprayberry at Creekview. Kell (9-0) will be the champion with a victory over Cambridge (3-6) as the highest seed from its subregion to win this week. The first tiebreaker is head-to-head result. Division B winner Kell beat Division A winner Creekview in the regular season.
*Region 8: The winner of the Flowery Branch-Gainesville game will be the region champion and the loser will be the runner-up. Clarke Central has clinched third place, and Heritage of Conyers will be the No. 4 seed.
