@WolfDawg == What happened for North to be declared the winner? Did Buford not win it outright?

@ Sportsnut –

There was a player Buford let play 2 & 3 plays vs West Hall & Banks Co. when the game was out of reach (like in the waning minutes of scores 63-0 & 48-0) that was let into the game. Player was ineligible, academically (they were unaware).

So Buford’s “official” record last season was 12-3

On the field of play, they only “lost” to Gainesville 19-15..

Actually the Buford scores when the player was inserted into the games was 61-0 vs West Hall & 63-0 vs Banks Co.. (had to look it up to verify)

Thanks for the inf. How long had the kid been on the team? It seems like someone should have been on top of that from an administrative standpoint. The AD or coach should have been aware of the players status.
