I see everyone is writing about teams in Class AA. What about them Brooks County Trojans — Region 1? They are the real deal and I want to make sure that we are not overlooked. And by the way, If Calhoun get in our path this year, they better have their “crying towels” out. We are determine to take a Championship home to Brooks County this year.

To Tony : Calhoun heard the same thing last year when Brooks was undefeated. They came to Calhoun with a hammer and got hammered with it. Talk is cheap Brooks wont last past the second round Calhoun will be back in the dome where they have been for the past five years

Lovett vs GAC ………. The recruiting coordinators will be working overtime at this game. Lovett seems to have the edge here and in the game.

Not sure what the Lions vs Christians guy meant- can not recruit anyone who cannot commute to school every day in Buckhead or Norcross, doesn’t have a decent SSAT and can’t do the academic work. Unless, he meant College recruiters looking for smart, ethical athletes. It should be a heck of a game in any case. Lions did what they had to in order to win against some ranked teams from higher classifications, only losing in overtime to Washington County and spreading the wealth out amongst many players all season. GAC built confidence and drilled execution destroying lesser programs. We will see if stats matter at all in the end and which approach better prepares a team to face a Calhoun or Lamar.

Both teams have a D-1 prospect and some FCS players and they are not all committed. Geez Lovett Fan are you that paranoid ? Is this game on TV ?
