Okiedawg, either you are: a Norcross fan, did not watch that game, know nothing about the game of football, or a close relative of Fleetwood or someone else on the coaching staff. That gameplan was atrocious and the coaches should be ashamed of themselves. The defense overcame their shortcomings and played OK, but the offense has regressed to the point of embarrasment. They are through 8 games so far this year and still basically run 1 (one!!!) running play–a dive up the middle to #1. That works against the Habershams and Mountain Views of the world but not against a decent defense in Norcross who, by the way, were calling out the dive and stacking the box every time PTR ran it. The run game bogs down and the passing game was nowhere to speak of. Park ball offenses have sweeps, pitches, off tackle plays, and ANY outside run to at least keep the D honest. PTR and their incompetent coaches? Nothing. Here you have one of the best backs in the state (Ellis #1) and you’re wasting him–As well as D-1 talent at receiver and elsewhere. So no, Fleetwood, and the rest of the PTR staff, you are NOT doing anywhere close to a good job, in this world or any other. Keep your heads up? More like get your behinds in gear, and put the immense talent you have been blessed with in position to make plays or you will be sitting somewhere looking silly after a premature first round exit.
