South Paulding by 10 over East Paulding in the Bone Yard! WOW! Come on East fans! Get behind your guys! Get after it these next 3 and win out you have some tie breakers, and you can host a playoff game! Don’t go down this way with out a fight! Get your respect back! South can’t win if you make them rely on the pass. Stop 3 from running and force him to throw and you stop them! Ask North, he had over 100 but 80 was on one play in first half! Didn’t complete a pass over 10 yards all night! Do not focus on the doubters, you guys are a couple of breaks away from being undefeated! You guys are talented enough to make a push here at the end to turn it around. North’s coach had a worse track record than the coach you have now and look what happen? It’s belief and execution! Good luck! Make a statement this week that the pride is back, and don’t let it go down this way!

@ MoMo98…

Glad to see someone posting positive thoughts about EAST…BUT a reality check shows that while I agree with you that the current team COULD have gone UNDEFEATED and COULD win this game against SOUTH, as depressing as it is for me to say I don’t see that happening. At least not tomorrow night and not under the handicap EAST is playing under with this COACH in charge!

Additionally I am hearing rumors (mind you unverified rumors) that EAST will be again playing WITHOUT their starting QB. If that is true the 10 point loss spread will be VERY conservative and SOUTH will win in a blowout!

I’ll be sitting there as I have now for 6+ years and bell ringing, cheering and hoping BUT the only hope EAST has for the #4 playoff spot (baring a very odd loss by ROME) is to win out and that means beating SOUTH tomorrow night in “THE BONEYARD”, then next week also at home against LITHIA SPRINGS (I wonder if a loss to LITHIA at home would be enough to get ole’ COACH GODDARD fired? Hmmm!), then another HUGE mountain to climb will be beating ALLATOONA at Allatoona!!

Unfortunately the realistic end for this years EAST team is probably going to be 6 / 4 and missing the playoffs for the only the 2nd time since 05.

Coaching candidates for 2014 PLEASE go to and click the boosters tab then send your resumes to the club President, V.P. & Alumni Association..can’t hurt and maybe this will get the ball rolling! .

agree 100% with the above post”THE CANNON RULES”!!,as a die hard EAST PAULDING fan we have to get rid of this joker CHUCK GODDARD, guy is totally overmatched(would probably be overmatced coaching pee wee league) if no change is made i predict this fool will take us back down to levels we havn’t seen since the mid 90’s when we were a joke and laughinstock, FIRE COACH GODDARD NOW!!!

I hear you guys. /Cannon Rules/ Raider fan/. But for lets not forget that were dealing with kids here and they feed off the vibe around them. It may be a long shot if your QB doesn’t play, but according to his Dad, who I know personally, said he is, you can’t give up the ship on this season yet. I have seen you and South play this year. You got enough to win! Stop the run and stop them! You guys can go toe to toe and beat them if you have no turnovers. If South has to pass to win , you got em. I don’t pretend to know the coaching situation there but the kids don’t have a choice in the matter and they are going to feed off the vibe of the crowd. Hopefully the kids will choose to fight and not lay down because just for the sake of Paulding County football, I would like to see as many Paulding county teams in the state playoffs as possible.

Going off script. I never predict with scores. Don’t predict much at all. I’m going to give it a try.
Here goes : Camden over Brunswick, 35-10
Colquitt over Valdosta, 24-17
Lowndes loses to Tift, 24-27
Norcross over The Ridge, 28-14
North Gwinnett over Collins Hill, 34-17
I wonder how I will do.

@Sportsnut – I like your predictions, except for the Colquitt – Cats out. Get in touch with your feelings again and see if you can’t come up with something more like Cats 28, Colquitt 27. Remember, I don’t care what all the other guys say about you, I’m still your buddy.

Vikes beat Cats 3-0!

Pack beat Vikes 37-7!

Unless Cat D plays “out-of-their-mind”, I don’t see them stopping the Pack O enough to keep them in the game.

My prediction…..Pack 28 – Cats 14

@Sportsnut .. I think North Gwinnett might actually get into a hole that they cant get out of this time.

@ 57Cat == I thought about it and I think they win it late. Should be a good game. There is one thought that keeps gnawing at me and that is Colquitt throws the ball. Not a lot but it is in their game plan. It will be the coldest night yet for football. That ball is going to get hard. Fingers are going to be cold. That could work in Valdosta’s favor. Running game for both teams.

October 25th, 2013
5:04 am

@ itsonlywrite == Maybe. It is time to crank up the running game. Depending on how well North’s passing game functions in tonight’s cold, C.J. will need a good game. I know CH throws but I know nothing of their running game. Either way, the weather plays a roll tonight.

October 25th, 2013
9:49 am

@itsonlywrite collins hill has a solid running back and a terrible Oline, It will be a shootout like last years game until CH gets tired, Then Legette and the browns will get rolling!!!!

Got 2 of 4. I think I will leave that to others.
@ itsonlywrite == You called it.

@Sportsnut… yeah man. I didn’t expect to put that many points up on em though. North Gwinnett had big play after big play last night even when they were losing. The playoffs are gonna be crazy.
