Tiger4Life… that number to the right is margin of victory. Not how much the winning team would allow.

I’d definitely have to agree with BcS2010 on the spread. I’m thinking somewhere around the 7 to 10 point margin of victory in the Tucker/Stephenson game. It’s going to come down to who makes the fewest mistakes. I won’t be picking a winner in this one though.

I think Gainesville is still the best team in 5A

BufWolvesDen – keep on thinking Gville is the best team in 5A. You will have a different tone after the result of the big game tomorrow night in Dekalb and the 1st round of the playoffs, 5A-Region 6.

WELCOME…HIRAM ( 1 / 4 ) to “THE BONEYARD” as EAST keeps tuning up with SOUTH PAULDING in “THE BONEYARD” and an away visit to ALLATOONA still looming on the schedule!!! EAST does NOT control it’s own destiny due to the loss to NORTH PAULDING in game one so EAST needs help from ROME and NEW MANCHESTER this week!

With EAST off last week several of us went to the NORTH PAULDING / SOUTH PAULDING game and once again KUDO’s to BOTH teams as they played their hearts out! GREAT GAME! Teams playing NORTH the rest of the year need to watch this game CLOSELY as the NORTH coach has NO PROBLEM in going for it on 4th down, he will FAKE a punt, he will FAKE a FG attempt and HE WILL TRY AN ONSIDE KICK!!!

GO RAIDERS!!! CURRENTLY 4 / 1 & # 4 in Region 5AAAAA!!!!!!

How does a game in DeKalb have anything to do with someone’s opinion about Gainesville?

Region 7-AAA

In Las Vegas these are know as lines or point spreads if you are a gambler.
Which means at the end of the game you would add 7 points to Stephenson’s score to determine the winner. (FOR GAMBLING PURPOSE ONLY)
So I stated “I would take Tucker giving up the 7 points to Stephenson” meaning I think Tucker will win by more than 7 points.

Also notice I said ” I would take that BET”

Because gvilles region (8) will be matching up with dekalb (6) in the playoffs.

At that point, opinions n point spreads won’t matter.

Go Big Red!!

Well your Vegas limbo doesn’t make a lick of sense to me at all.

Jefferson-the big game in Dekalb this week will determine the best team in 5A and that’s a fact…

Someone has hijacked my handle, that DeKalb remark is not the real Jefferson.

After watching that Buford – Gainesville game, how the hell can you think Gainesville game is the best team in 5A? No way in hell

The beautiful thing here is there is a playoff..
The BEST team comes out on top..
Polls, opinions & BS have nothing to do with the outcome..
Just the players & coaches of the respective schools determine the outcome..

Ahh the playoff run is on!!!

@RollTideRoll… aye man, I’ve watched the Tucker against weak spread offensive teams and had trouble covering those receivers. They would have big time trouble trying to cover our guys. Plus, neither of those teams have a passing attack, so if the run game isnt working, what are they gonna do then? smh … ya’ll really gon learn about judging Gainesville off of that Buford game. lol yall better hope they our 3rd or 4th seed dont give yall trouble.

October 10th, 2013
11:35 pm

@ATL… Tucker vs Stephenson may be a good game, but it doesnt mean nothing come playoff as far as those teams being better than Gainesville. Last year, the team that beat Stephenson got blew out by us. and I cant remember who Tucker lost too. Yall better go look at some more film on Gainesville before making those comments. Yall really have NO IDEA.

Itsonlywrite- ya’ll better tighten up that defenses and winning your Region. 5A Region 6 is a different beast, Stephenson and Tucker are much better this year and can’t overlook MLK or Mays. Ask Kell about their first round playoff game from last yr, just escaped and this years 4th seed will be better .

Maybe we just pull the Bufford/Gainsville tape from this year…..and we can all ‘get an idea’ of what it takes to beat down the the red elephants …..LOL

stop the pass by stopping Watson and its a wrap. our athletes at Stephenson can cover their WRs abnd TEs all day and i seriously doubt their o-line want anything to do with our #10, #50, #90 and #20 and thats just a half of their problem. Thye probably thought Buford was tough. Stephenson willb destroy them. Re3meber we have Buford size too but the JAGS are faster and meaner. These some real players over here! Keep talkin’ @itsonlywrite. keep talkin’!! Stop using he Ware game as your example of Stephenson. That was last year! Be thankful and proud you won state when you did. This is a new year and new season Playa! I hope we get to meet yawl in the playoffs and i hope you come back on the blogs and tell me how much Gainesville will beat Stephenson so we can have a healthy debate and a nice laugh after the beatdown yawl would get from us if we do meet.

lol… I’m glad I came back and check this blog…

@Atl … Kell barely got by Mays, but we put up 60 on Kell… *Kanye shrug*

@RealisticFan … lol … yall really sleeping on Buford. But however, yall are really sleeping on us. Stephenson is good, but I still think we’ll win… gotta believe in your team.

@TruthSayer… I dont think we’ll see each other unless in the championship hopefully b/c if we win our region and Tucker wins yall region, we’ll be on the same side as Tucker.
