Thanks, guys.

That’s the second example of a jersey situation fooling the media or the scorekeeper this week. Melvin Hill of Washington County changed jerseys at halftime against Lovett. His 241 yards rushing above is correct, but his totals have been reported incorrectly a couple of times.

Todd…both these kids from Cedar Grove need a little love…..

Quarterback James Hartsfield and receiver Brandon Norwood teamed up for three touchdown passes while leading Cedar Grove to a 45-6 Region 6-AAA victory over the Towers Titans at Panthersville on Saturday night.

Hartsfield hooked up with Norwood on touchdown passes of 25, 13 and 24 yards as the Saints (5-1, 2-0) pulled away from an early 6-6 tie with the Titans (4-2, 0-2).

Hartsfield also had a pair of rushing touchdowns including a one yard run for an early 6-0 lead in the first quarter.

We welcome all those comments of players we did not include. Bettistea is a beast, and Cedar Grove is definitely knocking on the door for a Top 10 rankings. The Saints are playing very well for a team that graduated a franchise QB to Vandy.
