Buford 63, West Hall 0: Visiting Buford rushed for 247 yards and three quarterbacks combined for 251 yards passing, with Taylor Mitchell throwing touchdown passes to Josh Thomas (84 yards) and David Curry (32 yards) in the first half. Thomas also returned a fumble 31 yards for a score at linebacker. Thomas Wilson kicked off the scoring for Buford with a 14-yard touchdown run.

Cartersville 76, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe 13: Visiting Cartersville jumped to a 69-0 lead at the half and were paced by quarterback Brooks Barden’s five passing touchdowns and pair of rushing scores. Mark Quattlebaum caught two scores and TL Ford, Gordon Gray and Terrius Callahan each added touchdown receptions. Running backs Kalin Heath and Tiamon Pennymon added rushing touchdowns in the rout.

North Hall 56, East Hall 31: The visiting Vikings were unable to contain the North Hall rushing attack. The Trojans amassed more than 500 yards of total offense. Quarterback Andrew Smith threw for one score and ran for touchdowns of 14 and 79 yards. Will Cape added a 40-yard touchdown and Brannon Dyer scored from 89 yards out. Zac Little scored three touchdowns from 9, 24 and 55 yards.

St. Pius 38, McNair 7: The running back duo of Dalton Wilson and Nick Ruffin pounded its way through McNair’s defense, as Wilson rushed for 52 yards on 10 carries and a touchdown and Ruffin added 44 yards with two scores. St. Pius improved to 5-1 while McNair dropped to 1-4.

North Hall 56, East Hall 31: North Hall piles up 605 yards off offense in a shootout. Trojans QB Andrew Smith rushed for two touchdowns and 240 yards on 16 carries while throwing for another. East Hall QB Devin Watson hit his mark most all night while leading the Viking offense to 400 yards on the night, most through the air. East Halls offense finished the game with four touchdowns. Special teams finished 8 for 8 in PATs for NTH while East Hall missed their 2nd PAT and unsuccessfully tried 3 two-point conversions on the night.
