A 9 point spread is mad disrespectful to a WACO team that haven’t scored less than 38 points per game and haven’t allowed more than 7 only once (most of those points are B team points) A Lovett team that couldn’t stop our spread last year and haven’t faced athletes like WACO have at the playmaker position this year.. Just shocked by the point spread…

WACO won by 13 points last season. That Lovett team was 2-3. This Lovett team is 5-0 and has beaten four Top 10 teams in higher classifications. Also, Lovett beat St. Pius 28-7. It was 28-0 at halftime. Who beat WACO in the playoffs last season? I think it was St. Pius.

I’m not predicting the outcome, but the 9-point spread sounds about right when you consider all that.

Camden is so “run” driven, only one pass play last week against Valdosta… Coffee will not make the same mistakes as last week for sure…..Coffee will hang 250 yards in the air Friday….Coffee by 3!

@ToodHolcomb So last year in the playoffs St. Pius beat WACO by 5.. Beat Lovett by 24… Then this year instead of 2-3 they are 5-0 and that’s a reason to give a 9 point spread to Lovett??? Could St Pius just not be that good this year??? Also last year our Offense was ranked in the top 5 in scoring in AAA and this year we are the #2 team after 4 games.. What if our defense is better this year than last year because around this time last year we had allowed 72 points (not counting ELCA) and this year we have only allowed 27….

The last reason why a 9 point spread is not cool is that the first 2 teams they played this year were also beat by Lovett last year and Marist and St Pius combine for 48 last year, what we score? Oh yeah 48..

Waco – I later realized that I read this wrong. I thought WACO was the 9-point favorite, but it’s Lovett. Yeah, I can see where you’d consider that offensive. :) But consider this – the computer is objectively crunching numbers. Based on scores alone, that’s how good Lovett has been this season. They’ve also accomplished some amazing things this season. So I’ll say this – I kinda think Waco will win, but I also question whether Waco would’ve gone 5-0 against Lovett’s schedule. That’s a lot of really good teams to play without slipping up at least once.

Todd. Beware of SOW
Obfuscation abounds!,

tr.v. ob·fus·cat·ed, ob·fus·cat·ing, ob·fus·cates
1. To make so confused or opaque as to be difficult to perceive or understand: “A great effort was made . . . to obscure or obfuscate the truth” (Robert Conquest).
2. To render indistinct or dim; darken: The fog obfuscated the shore.

gm1957…No need to pass when you can chew up 2 full quarters of play on the ground. Camden can pass if necessary. New week, new opponent. As far as Coffee putting up 250 yds in the air…The left cornerback (also a Alabama commit) returns this week. More than likely to see multiple interceptions and the taking away of the Coffee “air attack”. Lets see what happens…thats why they play the game.

I’ll take Camden by 14, still should have beaten Valdosta by 14, but moving on, Coffee’s passing game will move the ball against Camden, but will Coffee have the ball enough possessions and score enough to beat Camden? I think not. Cats WIN !!!!
