Softball: Week 7 rankings

Kennesaw Mountain lost to Archer Monday and dropped a couple spots. Archer had won 7 of 8 and is now ranked No. 4. N Gwinnett lost two last week to Collins Hill and Brookwood.

In Class AAAAA, Heritage-Conyers has lost four of six and dropped to No. 5. Sequoyah and Starr’s Mill each dropped after recent bouts of losing.

South Effingham dropped after losing two games last week in Class AAAA.

In Class AAA, Blessed Trinity, Jackson County and Pike County each dropped after rough weeks. Peach County debuted in the top 10.

Westminster and Jefferson each entered the Class AA poll after impressive stretches.

ELCA entered the Class A poll after winning six in a row and was joined by Pace Academy, which has won seven of eight.

And where does Dacula rank in AAAAAA? With a record of 17-3 and 4-1 in Region? I guess we are the unsung heros? With 149 RF and only 57 RA in season play the Lady Falcons have played consistently throughout the season both on offense and defense.

So let me get this straight…..BT is ranked #9 in AAA, Westminster #8 in AA and Pace #10 in A and HIES beat all three and is unranked??

Why is North Cobb, Tift or Lowndes not in the top 10 for AAAAAA yet Harrison is?? I don’t get that!
