Collins Hill blew past Norcross 14-0 Tuesday after besting Parkview Saturday thanks to three-plus strong innings by freshman Kaylee Parker. The Class AAAAAA No. 9 Eagles are gearing up for another playoff run while they continue to build depth for beyond 2013. With only two losses on the year, expect Collins Hill to make another deep run in the playoffs.

Lassiter sits at the top of Region 5-AAAAAA and is clearly the best of all the Cobb teams with just two losses and a perfect region record. They open up in the Brookwood Invitational at Collins Hill on Friday. It will be a great weekend in Gwinnett to see who emerges as favorites in state tournaments. Lassiter currently sits in the third spot in the state rankings. The Trojans have outscored their opponents by a margin of 116-28 this fall.
