Allatoona 45, Rome 14: Josh Bettistea had more than 200 yards rushing and scored on a 55-yard touchdown in the opening moments of the third quarter to lead the visiting Buccaneers. Frank Griffin was equally as effective for Rome, scoring on an 80-yard run to keep the game close in the first half.
Clarke Central 27, Loganville 17: Jaqua Daniels ran for 188 yards and two touchdowns, including one with 3:50 left to play, to help Clarke Central hold off host Loganville. Gladiators quarterback Cameron Johnson was 9-of-16 passing for 111 yards and a 45-yard touchdown to Austin Johnson, and place kicker Matt Ward made field goals of 35 and 26 yards.
Creekside 33, Tri-Cities 17: Visiting Creekside started the scoring on its first offensive play with an 89-yard touchdown run by Evan Berry, his only carry of the game. Bricen Terry rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns, and Dexter Knox added a touchdown run. Jayson Stanley led Creekside with 51 receiving yards and a touchdown. Quatrez Sparkman had an interception for the Seminoles.
Flowery Branch 39, Cedar Shoals 25: Host Flowery Branch scored 25 in the first half to shut the door early on Cedar Shoals. Flowery Branch running back Jemon Randolph had a 3-yard rushing touchdown to go along with a 20-yard rushing touchdown from Cameron Davis. Falcons quarterback Jackson McDonald also ran for a 10-yard touchdown in a 39-25 win.
Gainesville 68, Winder-Barrow 0: Host Gainesville was led by senior quarterback DeShaun Watson, who passed for 307 yards and four touchdowns and also eclipsed the 10,000-yard mark for career passing yards. His favorite receiver tonight was Jay Gaudloch, who had 92 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Michael Byrd and Rodney Lackey each had 100-yard receiving games.
McIntosh 24, Ola 6: The visiting Chiefs took a 10-0 halftime lead over Ola, but did not have control of the game until early in the third quarter. Quarterback Andrew Johnson led McIntosh on the opening drive of the second half that resulted in a touchdown run by Johnson on a quarterback sneak. McIntosh improved to 3-0.
North Paulding 33, Lithia Springs 8: The visiting Wolfpack held a 7-0 halftime lead but were able to pull away in the second half behind senior quarterback Chase Noonan, who threw for three touchdown passes. The Wolfpack defense had a shutout until late in the fourth quarter.
Tucker 46, Arabia Mountain 12: The visiting Tigers stormed to a 32-0 halftime lead and poured it on in the second half. Elijah Sullivan scored two first half touchdowns, while teammates Dominick Sanders and Stephen Reynolds each scored once before the half. Kicker Eric Weber added a field goal to finish the scoring for Tucker.
Union Grove 24, Forest Park 0: Union Grove scored on the ground, through the air and on a punt return. Trevor Gear and Luke Parker rushed for scores, Jonathan Slade threw a touchdown strike to Caleb Ham and a Sam Rogers punt return capped the scoring for host Union Grove.
