He’s a great kid. Played soccer growing up. Moved over to track and football when he started high school.

Nice to see the success for a great kid like this.

Whitewater is HUGE this year. The game wasn’t pretty but it was obvious Coffee’s strength and conditioning won the game. Coffee’s Brandon Roe is going to play Division 1 ball somewhere. He is fast, fast and has magic hands. It is still hard to put a finger on how good Coffee is this year. If Whitewater is a real #7 in 5A, then Coffee is going to make some noise. If not. We’ll have to wait and see.

Whitewater did seem large. I don’t think it was the conditioning that won as much as it was the opening up of the passing game which then opened up the running game. Also the defense shut down Whitewater’s passing attack. The only TD was due largely to a booted punt.

If Whitewater is the legitimate #7 team in AAAAA then Coffee may just contend in region 1-6A this year. Whitewater is HUGE but Coffee’s strength and conditioning showed in the 3rd and 4th quarters. Coffee’s Brandon Roe is a legitimate Division 1 candidate. He is fast and has magic hands. Coffee has had only one practice in pads in two full weeks due to the daily thunderstorms, and it showed early on in the game. Still can’t really get a handle on just how good Coffee is. Next week another top ten 5A school with Ware County at home then 4A #2 Burke County on the road. If the Trojans make it through the next two games 3-0 it will be a mistake for anyone to look past them.

North Hall scrimmaged 4A Virginia power Salem (Preseason #3) last night in Lynchburg, VA. North Hall won 42-31. Game wasn’t as close as the score. North Hall is very good this year.

Arabia Mountain could be a dangerous team. Region 6 elite better be on your toes when you play them.

Gator Green went for 235 in one quarter and Devonte had 3 touches and 3 yds? Holy s#%+, where’s the defense or are these guys just that good?

Btw, did anyone watch the Bishop Gorman/east point game on fox last night? I know, I know it was Nevada v Arizona high school football, but it was very entertaining. #5 and #30 from the Arizona team were incredible.

Ready to watch the Kell classic all day, then hopefully Norcross teach them Miami boys some respect!

Good victory for the Rams of Arabian Mountain. After this, we will know if Arabian will be a player, within the mighty region 6. The Rams next 5 games:

Stephenson
Tucker
Miller Grove
MLK
Mays

A very brutal schedule for the first half of the regular season. Good Luck Rams!

I guess not. I was wondering the same thing. Seems as though all the powers to be are a little shy after recent developments. The announcers just talked about the mercy rule AT Norcross.
