Perry football coach Harden resigns

Perry head coach Stacey Harden has resigned as head coach and athletics director, WMAX-TV reported Friday.

Harden was Perry’s coach for three seasons and led the Panthers to 6-5, 7-4 and 6-5 finishes. Perry was 1-9 the season before hiring Harden. Perry this year can achieve a fourth straight winning season for the first time since 1961.
