Ignorant question: How come some teams tied in games and others went to penalty shoot outs….can you tie even after doing PK’s?

The reason why some games tie and others go into PKs is because it is the coaches desicion at the beginning of the game when captains are called. Region games have to go into PKs because there has to be a winner.

All Class AAAAAA games will always go into a shootout, whether Region games or not. As long as you are playing another Class AAAAAA team.
