Former Landmark coach Dallas takes North Cobb job

Kenny Dallas, the football coach who led Landmark Christian to the Class A championship game in 2011, is back in Georgia as head coach of North Cobb Christian.

Dallas, a Tennessee native, was Landmark’s coach for 11 seasons and compiled an 88-39 record but resigned after the run to the state finals to take a non-coaching position at Grace Christian Academy in Franklin, Tenn. Assistant coach Wayne Brantley was promoted to take Dallas’ place at Landmark.

Dallas also will be North Cobb Christian’s dean of students.

North Cobb Christian, known in sports for its state-ranked boys basketball team, is 6-42 in its six seasons of varsity football. The coach for the past four seasons was Harry Miles.

North Cobb Christian is really lucky to have this man as a coach. I have heard him speak on 2 occasions at my church. He will make such a positive impact on your students. I really wish my son could have played for him. Good Luck!

From what I know of him as a head coach at Landmark …. his character, leadership and coaching abilities, Cobb Christian is blessed to have this man walking their halls and coaching their football team. Wish him and Cobb Christian the very best.
