Congrats to alll the team that made the tourney! Coach Johnson @ MLK should be dismiss or demoted. If anyone saw the games he coach; it was pitiful. He return over 75% of his last year team, which WON 21 games in the top classification. I have no ill feeling for Coach Johnson, but to win no more than 12 games without major injuries, this is not acceptable!!!!!!

Wish writers would quit writting AAAAAA, AAAAA, AAAA, and simply write 6A, 5A. 4A etc. Would make for easier reading.

@Tom Justice: I couldn’t agree with you more, totally with you. It beats counting A’s, especially 6A and 5A.

@Tom Justice and rmbuck1: The reason we write out “AAAAAA” or “AAAAA” is the teams are also in regions, which are numbered, and some of those regions are subdivided. For instance, on the occasions where we have to identify a team’s classification and region in the same sentence, it makes more sense to write Tift County is in “Region 1A-AAAAAA” as opposed to Region “1A-6A.”
Someone who is not quite familiar with the fact that Tift is a large school wouldn’t have to guess whether or not Tift is in “Class 1A” or “Class 6A.”

Well I guess Meadowcreek would be called the cinderella thus far. First they beat then #4 N. Gwinnett in the regional tournament, then the region 4 seed Collins Hill to take the 3 seed in region 7 for the State tournament. Then in the first round win in double overtime against the 10th ranked Chattahoochie Cougars. Quite the feat for a sub 500 team in a strong region. The road is hard ahead, but kudos to this point.
