Just give it to Buford and the rest of us can stay home.

The girls bracket is wrong. #3 is Banks County, not North Hall

why is buford so dominant? Is it legal for them to be recruiting? Lets be honest we all know they do it and are getting away with it. When will someone have the guts to stand up and stop it?

Buford, as I understand it, can legally “recruit”. When a school district has only one high school in it (i.e. city school districts or private schools), that high school is permitted to legally enroll students that may live outside of their geographical boundaries. I’m not sure of all the logistics or any of the rulebook language, but I am fairly certain that is essentially what it amounts to.

Not so fast my friend. Buford and North Hall in the championship game. They split the regular season series. Both games went down to the wire. It will be North Hall’s homegrown boys against the all-star team at Buford. Should be a good one.

You guys crack me up. Because of their facilities and coaching, Buford doesn’t have to recruit. They have players knocking the door down to get in. Their is an admission process that heavily relies on grades and there are no athletes coming into the system that are academically challenged. Yes, there is a tuition for students who reside outside the city limits. Haters gonna hate!!

Buford, I think you are missing the point. Everyone else is playing with kids who were raised within the community they play. I would not be too excited about outsiders coming in and taking the spots of the kids who are from the community. Buford has a long history of being a great program and deserves to be respected. They used to do it with Buford kids. If the Buford kids were playing and still beating everyone, then no one would have an argument.
