Prediction….St Francis over North Cobb Christian in the championship….North Cobb beat St Francis in the first game without Kaiser Gates and with Kobi Simmons only playing 10 minutes due to sickness…in the second meeting with a full roster St Francis blew them out the gym

there is no doubt St Francis is LOADED with talent, but they have lost 8 games with all that talent, and to some mediocre teams. They have way to much talent to lose 8 games. It depends which St Francis team shows up in that one. Both teams have tough match-ups tonight. Whitefield is no pushover. They do have the region player of the year on their team, but we will see how it plays out. Good luck to all teams tonight

Whitefield over NCCS in semis – meeting St. Francis this afternoon. They split in the regular season – should be a great game!

The facts are: SF lost 2 close games in Lagrange Holiday tourney to Archer and I think Rockdale County, to GAC away, Whitefiled away, Pace and NCC away, all without Gates and NCC without Simmons too. Only bad loss of season was 1st game of yr. vs. Holy Innocents and they are pretty good. SF is ranked high in playoff rankings because they played tougher schedule than just about every other class A team. Lost only 1 game with Gates healthy. Should be close game. Go Knights.

The region is loaded on the girls side. Any of the 2 private schools could be seeing each other again later in the state playoffs. GL will make a case on the public side.

Simmons played in the NCCS game, and they also lost SACA which was a bad loss. They are loaded, no question. They should be the favorite to win state in my opinion. Most talented team I have seen this year

depending on the bracket, I would not be surprised to see St Francis, Whitefield, and NCCS make deep deep runs in the tourney.
