Fayette County 60, Sandy Creek 49: Host Fayette County trailed 25-21 at the half, but a focused Tigers squad stole the lead in the 3rd quarter and took a 43-36 advantage into the 4th quarter.  Aneesa Watson lead the way with 22 points and the Tiger’s solid second half upheld against the Patriots.

Kell 55, Osborne 32: Host Kell superstar Caliya Robinson showcased her polished range of skills and registered an unofficial quadruple double. Robinson returned to the court after missing the past two days of practice with the flu and the unofficial stat sheet has her for 13 points, 14 blocks, 11 assists and double digit rebounds in the Longhorns win.

Calvary Day 54 Savannah Christian 43: Visiting Calvary Day jumped out to a favorable 30-18 lead at the half. Setting the tone early were Alexus Parker with 13 points in the first half and teammate Olivia Harrell with nine. Parker and Harrell continued to set the pace for Calvary Day as they maintained their comfortable lead until the horn.

Lassiter  51, Walton  31: Host Lassiter went even with the Raiders at the end of the one before their defense began to stifle the Walton offense and build a lead. Walton looked lost in the 2nd quarter and the Trojans sashayed into locker room at halftime leading 23-11. The momentum continued and the defensive pressure frustrated rival Walton all night in the Trojan’s win.

Hephzibah 50, Glenn Hills 27:  Visiting Hephzibah set the tone early by jumping to a 14-7 lead that included eight of their 14 points coming off Spartan turnovers. After leading 28-17 at the intermission the Rebels continued forcing turnovers that led to points. Defensively Hephzibah gave up only 10 second half points and ran away from the Spartans.

Greater Atlanta Christian 58, Hapeville Charter 20: Visiting Hapeville Charter was unable to answer the Spartan’s big three. Cici Buford had 14 points, Sydney Means 10, and Brianna Cummings 13 combined to outscore the Hornets by 17 as the Spartans cruised to victory.
