As mentioned several times when the AJC kept putting Alexander #1 in their poll…Gilmer simply wins championships! Drilled Alexander proving their is clearly a separation between #1 and everybody else. Next year will be no different so make your polls accurate!

I didn’t wrestle but my son does – exposing me to wrestling at a deeper level. Conclusion: It is the most exciting sport in high-school. You get to see every kid leave it on the mat. Excellence is obvious, so it grit and determination. No body gets to take a play off or hide behind the efforts of their teammates. The AJC needs to step up the coverage!

it can be exciting GaTruth. But it can be very boring at times too.
not trying to knock the sport, but wrestling fans get much too wrapped up in it and can’t see anything else sometimes.
