Congrats to all you young men. You did your teams and yourselves proud. I pray all you Seniors will be able to go to the next level and the underclassmen keep striving to be the best you can be. I’m especially proud of all the Stephens County Indians!

How did Lumpkin County, a team that I think finished 2-8, get sooooooo many guys on these teams ? I can’t believe their were so few from a team like Monroe, was Fligg not at the meeting ?

KD, I agree with all you’ve stated, especially the honorable mention. I’m happy because the last couple years it seemed like the first and second teams would have 20+ players on each side of the ball on both 1st and 2nd teams, so it was a joke. I wish i knew how the players are evaluated or nominated, by the head coaches or does the assistants have a say as well.

Todd, you stated earlier that there was not an honorable mention in this region, I have heard that there was, did the coaches meet again and decide on one ?
