Calhoun 2 times had chances to go up 28-7 but failed, Lamar got back in @ 21-14 and Calhoun held, never trailed. Lamar didn’t get tired and wound not be put away.

Calhoun might have been looking ahead and didn’t play their best game. However, Lamar County came to play and are fast and quick. Congratulations on their season and a great effort. Now on to the dome to defend the AA state championship!!!! Go Jackets

Now all my peeps living in the ATL from Ware-Waycross, lets come out and support our Gators as we try to win the AAAAA State Championship, as we all can see these young men are balling and need all the support we can give them. So take so time out of your busy holiday schedule and come and support these mighty Gators and bring that State Championship back to South Georgia as they like to refer to us. GO Gators

@graphite: I don’t think you’ll have to worry about running into any Waycross folks in Matthews Cafeteria. but there are plenty of Tucker folks in there, which is just fine. Gainesville deserves a championship since this will be there 8th championship game and have yet to win one. Ware County can win there’s next year since they are supposedly such a young team.

@BK, remember what happened in 07, ECI 35 Dooly 0. Expect more of the same. This time instead of destroying our locker rooms you can tear up the Georgia Domes, and then go to jail.
