To watch games online, go to http://www.playonsports.com,, click on the “SPORTS” tab at the top, select football and you will find games. If the games is not currently playing, click on the “Upcoming” tab and you will find a list of games. There will be games from around the country, so you will have to find the ones specific to Georgia.

Here’s thinking that Propst will use the recent asinine selection of the Region1-6A all-region team to motivate his players. It’s a shame and a disgrace that all the other coaches used this as a forum to be vindictive against him. Just because you despise a coach is no need to take it out on the players who are most affected. The fact that Camden Co. swept the “players of the year” and “coach of the year” honors, and had 8 players on offense and defense as opposed to 4 for Colquitt is not the most egregious item. (we all see who is still playing don’t we?) The most tell-tale sign that this was intentional, if not conspiratorial, was the non-selection of Bobby Hill at WR. He was not on the first team offense, even though a senior, but was displaced by a junior, Brandon Roe, at Coffee Co. Compare their stats and it is amazing that this could happen.(per MaxPreps) 1. Bobby Hill(Miss St. commit)—78 receptions, 1046 yds. 6 TDs 2. Brandon Roe—21 receptions, 381 yds 4 TDs
AND just for the record 1. Cole Segraves, Colquitt QB, 165 for 274 completions, 2099 yds. and 9 TDs 2. Brice Ramsey, Camden QB, 75 for 137 completions, 1396 yds., 19 TDs
The only place Ramsey was ahead is in TDs 19 to 9 yet he was first team QB, and Segraves was 2nd team. Pretty obvious what was going on here. The Packers may not take home the personal honors, even though deserved, but they just might take home the state title.

For some reason, if I go to the playonsports website, my computer won’t be able to deliver the game I select. BUT, if I go to Youtube and, say, type in “gainesville high school football whitewater” I can click on that GHSA network link and see the game just fine. This for any of you experiencing the same problem.

This is it. The lights will shine bright in blue devil stadium with a sellout crowd. The parking lot will be full of tailgating and you could smell the burgers and dogs a mile away. The players are in their zone, resting or going over the game plan. It’s norcross vs colquitt. Georgia friday nights alive in Norcross. Playoff edition. High School Football lives here!!!!

for those who were wondering about the radio at the colquitt game norcross doesn’t have a radio broadcast. best thing to do if you have a smart phone download the tune in radio app and try to get the radio signal that the colquitt guys use that usually broadcast the games. they will be in the press box. I thinks its like cruiser ##

Hey Norcross. When Propst comes out in the middle of the field and does some of his unprofessional, unsportsman antics would you guys please on the next play run a toss sweep his way and not stop at the sidelines? Look out he’s a sore loser and an even worse winner. Do all of Georgia a favor and put him out of our misery. You should have no problem beating Colquitt just make sure you don’t make too many mistakes and capitalize on their’s. O’Yea look out when you guys start winning because that’s when the Colquitt players are worse and for some reason the refs never see when they hit the player trhow him on the ground but as soon as your player gets up and pushes the other guy off is when the ref will throw a flag. Solve the problem just score 49 points on them in the first quarter.

you can also tune in on any Crapple device to watch the games mobile. Love or hate Colquitts coach, they still have the best radio announcers in the state. Since they do their own webcast and not a GHSA one, you should be able to watch it online if you cant get in front of a tv.

The only thing more awesome than Georgia high school football is that all these games are streaming online. It would be even awesomer if the feed was better. I hear installing flash or other similar apps helps. Any suggestions? Go big red! And north hall, i guess….

If ***RobFromNorcross” represents all of that city’s folks, I’m sure they are proud of him. BTW, RFN, what city in GA doesn’t broadcast their own games on radio? You guys don’t even have a radio station? This is 2012 you know. I’m wondering also what’s this stuff I noticed about Norcross being 39.4% Hispanic, on QuickFactsCensus.com? I knew Gwinnett Co. had a high number, but didn’t know they all lived in Norcross! That’s almost as much as Dalton in Whitfield Co. !! I’m surprised you guys even have a football team and don’t just field about a dozen soccer teams.

I do have to admit that Propst is a tool. He lacks class and seems to want to be on the field while play is in progress. I believe that’s a penalty (even though seldom called). He also seldom gives credit to the opponent which is fine if you win by 50+ points.
I do give props to the Colquitt faithful that follow their team each week to the Atlanta area. I also hear their annoucers are very football literate and know their team well. Plus the south Georgia drawl is very entertaining. I mean no disrespect by that statement.

Norcross may win the game. However, 35-7 seems like a score dreamed up by a mind that has very little going for it other than a big ego. Hope it doesn’t jink Norcross. They deserve better. Colquitt has a coach that knows how to score points most nights. They’ve proved that at this level. Norcross hasn’t.

I didn’t think about this until now, but I think I’m right to say that Lamar County’s Franklin Stephens and Calhoun’s Hal Lamb each enter the game on 29-game unbeaten streaks. Calhoun has won 29 straight, of course, and Stephens was 15-0 last season at Tucker.

One thing that impresses me in watching these games, especially the tight ones, is how well teenagers perform under pressure. Even teams that lost like Marist and Northside made a lot of clutch plays to put their teams in position to win. Good stuff.

Have noticed several times one or two of the Norcross players try to hold the runner or receiver up so another one can try to strip the ball from him. GPB/TV sports doesn’t need donations, they need some competent people for these high school games. They left the score up in the top left hand corner at 34-19 for a good 10 mins. when it was 34-20. Throughout the playoffs I have seen and heard people say that Gainesville is a 1 man team and that Gainesville is all offense. Well after the last couple of games I think we have shown we can play some Defense, way to step up and hold our last two opponents to 14 and 13 respectively. As for Watson and the offense, Watson is a beast but he has one hell of an arsenal of receivers and running backs. And nothing could be possible without the boys up front. All in all a great win, were 1 game away from making history. I am proud to be a Gainesville Red Elephant!

Not sure what you guys call “embarrassing”..but Norcross just beat Colquitt to me. as long as a team has a chance in the 4th quarter, I can’t qualify that as embarassment….seems more like piling on once you realize the team is losing. You can’t take nothing from Colquitt….4 road wins in 6A playoffs, those boys are impressive. Only Norcross can put themselves over them…they even beat the other finalist….so talk all that you must, but Colquitt represented this year to me.

Lamar County was the real deal and almost pulled the upset of Calhoun. Calhoun beat Ridgeland earlier this year and I believe Lamar County is just as talented as that same Ridgeland team that will be playing for the state title next week. The Trojans had incredible speed all over the field and completely shut down the Calhoun passing game.
With the two Austin brothers back next year, they will be a force to be reckoned with in AA. Hats off to the Calhoun defense. They bent all night long, but stood firm when they needed it.

I just wish there were methods that would allow us to see these teams more before the playoffs, I had no idea that the talent level of these schools had risen so high. This bodes well for the future of GA HS sports…so many new teams in the hunt.

Twenty-one points surrendered in the first quarter made me sit back and think, what just happened ? I can say that the future is bright at North Cobb and it’s football program. I am sitting here trying to figure how you scored so easily. There were plays when there was no Lovejoy player in sight. The mix of close and open splits might have been responsible. Either way, you played a good game and should have the respect of your fans and football fans in general. Keep you heads high and get back on that bike and ride it until you ride it like no one else. Leave knowing you knocked on the door. Next year, kick it in ! Kudo’s to you fan base as they were behind you till the end. I made my way to the locker room door and congratulated some of the players on a fine season. The Qb was one of them . I’ve been attending games in Memorial Stadium (The Swamp) for years. I witnessed the 5 biggest games ever played in the swamp. NSWR came out tonight and spread out on the field before the game and really tried to antiminate the Gators, but Tobler just put the team on his back and carried them. I think they were stunned as to how quick and good the Gator “D” was. Ware dominated the whole game and then went to their prevent with 17-7 lead and the ball on NSWR with 3 minutes to go. Craziest comeback I ever witnessed and the life got sucked out of the stadium going into overtime. But Tobler wouldn’t have any part of it and once again but the team on his shoulders and willed them to win. He’s an amazing athlete. I think all of the Eagle nation was stunned at how they got dominated.

I am first going to give kudo’s to North Cobb for a good game. At the same time I am mad because they scared the _-_- out of me. Good job.

Watching a game in person is so different from watching on TV. Congrats to all the Colquitt fans that came out for the 4th weekend in a row. Y’all had a pretty good turnout. It did look as though some of you left in the 4th quarter
Colquitt just had no answer for Norcross all night. The Blue Devils O line was blowing great big holes in the line and it sure looks like if you give Kamara an inch he turns it into a a mile. Hog Air never really got off the ground tonight. Segraves is larger than Mobley and was able to get some good runs in but I really thought Mobley was the better passer when he came in to play.
It is clear that Kamara is the real deal deal! His running was outstanding and I know he came out of the backfield for a long reception in the the 1st quarter I think. Very impressive kid.
I think Norcross has a good chance in the finals. I know Lovejoy is explosive but the Hogs can be as well and they never really could get much going on a sustained basis.
My dad is a tv repairman. I can fix it.

Sportsnut-Nice to meet you….Congratulations on your victory tonight and a tremendous season.
I loook forward to posting with you this next week as our boys prepare to bring home the hardware. Norcross played a little sloppy tonight but our O-line play and the QB play of Wilber was the difference. Kamara had a solid game but the O-line controllerd the big front of the Packers all night.
Congratulations Colquitt on another tremendous playoff run on the road. I don’t know if we will ever see another team compete as the Packers have always on the road.
Congrats again to Lovejoy and Norcross….well done!

@ The Cross == The time has come. We both have been major proponents of our respective programs and now we meet. First, let me congratulate you on this season’s accomplishments. Norcross has done what it takes to be on top. No team at this point is unbeatable. Lovejoy understands the AGF addage and will do their best to achieve their goal. Looking foward to it.

The only team that could beat Norcross lost to them last week….Camden. Back and forth all night until middle of 4th Q. Ramsey bad game and the final pic on him sealed the deal for Norcross. I was impressed by Norcross, the speed of the two teams about same but Norcross much bigger. Kamara a stud. Interesting game next week vs Lovejoy.

@ Warrior Nation == Sometimes ignorance can be an asset. You can;t control what people say about you but you can give them an ,opportunity to see for themselves. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. In this case, I am glad the kid’s made an impression, a ,positive one, on you. I hope all that witnessed the game can now see that Lovejoy football players are not what the haters called them. We won’t be able to change the minds of those who still feel this way. That’s fine by me. Thanks for your support and I am sure the young men on the team appreciate it too.
