Been going to the Dome for 5years now but .Congrats glad to have you join us this year…..Lamar Co……WOW…would never have believed it would have been that close in a hundred years….Lama Co.Does have SPEED EVERYWHERE….the lamar LBs came out of nowhere to make plays..very good job and good luck next year…. wondering what the Lamar coaches were yapping about after the game though…It really can’t be the officiating….I hope no goes there…….GO NAVY BEAT ARMY!!!!!

Refs at Norcross must have it out for Colquitt. Ball was tipped and went straight up and they called roughing the kicker.

There was contact with the kicker. He didn’t touch the ball. He did make contact with the kicker. Running into the kicker was the penalty. But look for the avalanche of whines to come for the new year.

GPB/TV sports doesn’t need donations, they need some competent people for these high school games. They left the score up in the top left hand corner at 34-19 for a good 10 mins. when it was 34-20. If anyone send them donations( I sure don’t) please mark it for the sports TV dept. so they can hire some intelligent people.

Throughout the playoffs I have seen and heard people say that Gainesville is a 1 man team and that Gainesville is all offense. Well after the last couple of games I think we have shown we can play some Defense, way to step up and hold our last two opponents to 14 and 13 respectively. As for Watson and the offense, Watson is a beast but he has one hell of an arsenal of receivers and running backs. And nothing could be possible without the boys up front. All in all a great win, were 1 game away from making history. I am proud to be a Gainesville Red Elephant!

Gwinett Dad…why do you call it whining when it is simply the refs making a bad call at a very crucial moment of the game…not saying that is the reason Colquitt lost, but you can not call that whining with a straight face.

Norcross up 41-20. I hope NO Colquitt fan wants to blame the refs. Norcross is winning the game on the field. Clearly. Without dispute. Some days a team is better. Please, Colquitt, now is the time to show the class that your team deserves.

I at one time sent GPB donations, but after the keep allowing Liberal propaganda to dominate the airways with taxpayer money I wouldnt give them the time of day much less money.I also agree the HS football coverage on GPB is pathetic…….GO NAVY BEAT ARMY!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Colquitt it was not a bad call. He hit the kicker. But of you want to whine go ahead because Norcross is just embarrassing you. Yea you beat Camden by one but we surely didn’t get BEAT down by Norcross. It was a game until late in the fourth quarter bt hey y’all had a game late in the first minutes of the game.

Norcross punt was partially blocked. Maybe a 5 yarder but not PF. He put on a show. Swing led to a TD. CC will fight back but will lose. Refs should not decide a game. Too bad for Colquitt.

Not sure what you guys call “embarrassing”..but Norcross just beat Colquitt to me. as long as a team has a chance in the 4th quarter, I can’t qualify that as embarassment….seems more like piling on once you realize the team is losing. You can’t take nothing from Colquitt….4 road wins in 6A playoffs, those boys are impressive. Only Norcross can put themselves over them…they even beat the other finalist….so talk all that you must, but Colquitt represented this year to me.

Yea the refs decided the Colquitt Norcross game. That 41 to 20 score late in the 4th quarter is all on the refs. Wow

the pack only lost because buzz payne was using his magic binoculars to read rush propst play calls and relay it to the norcross coaching staff. that happened in every game that rush propst has ever lost.

Congratulations to Colquitt. Three losses in the semis, one in the finals. A very successful program and representative of 1-AAAAAA, where there’s no question how important football is. Gotta give them credit for all those I-75 miles they’ve traveled.

If it was a 2-3 point loss then I could see, you CC fans complain that the reff should not decide the game, but come on it was a 21 point beatdown, the play would not make a difference, though it could have gone either way, just like CC got a few throughout the year.

haven’t seen a team in years with as much speed across the board as Lamar Co….That team has a Great future.I believe ,from what I’ve heard,they are a pretty young team…Having said that..I’m going with Lamar Co….2013 Ga HS AA State Champs…..but for now Sic um Jackets..bring home two in a row…….GO NAVY BEAT ARMY!!!!!

I just want to show some south Georgia class and congratulate Norcross for a great win and season. They have waited a long time for a state. Secondly, Colquitt has nothing to be embarrassed about. What’s embarrassing is having a home game in the first round of the playoffs and losing. To a lower seed team.

Folks, most of these folks complaining aren’t even Colquitt fans.
Wouldn’t be surprised, why get mouthy at the end of the game and make yourself look bad. Norcross played a great game and deserves the win. Don’t let fans like you ruin for the team

Gwinnett Dad…I agree 100%, but I can also see where that call creates some angst for Colquitt fans….sometimes complaining about refs does not equate to casuality for a loss.

Lowndes Viking….you are showing your weakness…..I root for both teams.. I have mentored those young men from Lowndes for years and will always support them and Valdosta too. My allegiance is to the young men, not the program. I could care less about Lowndes HS or Valdosta HS…just the young men….you are most likely the exact opposite.

It’s funny how Lowndes fans flock here to trash Colquitt after they got their butts handed to them in the First round. Took 4 weeks but they got their chance lol. Poor Lowndes fans, Colquitt losing was all they had to look forward to

Good luck next week Norcross!!! Congrats on a big season and yall played a good game and i hope Myles Austin recovers for next week!! No whining here we got beat by a good team. I don’t care if you’re a veteran of the blog or who you’re a fan of. You’re simply trying to stir things up for no reason. Someone predicting a score is not talking trash, it’s simple opinion and excitement for the game, everyone does it. Georgia fans did it in the SEC Championship, so does that automatically make every prediction from a whiner since they lost? I’ve been following every post for a couple hours now and I haven’t heard anyone whining, just those trying to bait whiners like yourself. Just go to bed.
