Hoping for a good night of football.
See if N. Cobb can represent for Cobb County. They were the last team I would have seen making a run out of the county to the semis, but they had some favorable match ups and got hot at the right time.

I didn’t think about this until now, but I think I’m right to say that Lamar County’s Franklin Stephens and Calhoun’s Hal Lamb each enter the game on 29-game unbeaten streaks. Calhoun has won 29 straight, of course, and Stephens was 15-0 last season at Tucker.

Gville hits 36-yard pass on first down, a key 20-yarder on 4th and 14 to the Whitewater 10. Two plays later, Gainesville scores from the 2. Gainesville leads 14-0. this game is over. Watson is too good, and Whitewater is not getting enough pressure.

North Hall drove deep into St. Pius territory and was called for intentional grounding on 4th and 1. The penalty carries a loss of down so St. Pius takes over on downs.

Lamar had first and goal, then two penalties for first & goal at about the 18. Then guys are running on the field at the last second, and instead of calling a timeout, they give it to Fletcher the fullback on a dive and he scores from 18 yards out.

Untimely penalties are plaguing North Hall. After a holding call put them in 2nd and long, the next play was a predictable pass and resulted in an interception. St. Pius takes over at their own 36.

North Hall was just called for their fourth penalty of the first half – three have been drive-stoppers. They have plenty of offensive talent but they can’t seem to get out of their own way.
