Born loser … You must have played for Chestatee. You’re statement is highly invalid and you’re nothing more than a troll who is probably angry because your team never beat North Hall when you played against them. You’re definitely living up to your name, Born Loser.

Congrats to all who advanced. My Thomson Bulldogs played a great season. We all just wish Tutt, our starting QB, was not still injured, it really hurt our team from being able to utilize the pass. But that’s life, maybe next year! Go Dogs!

North Hall should host by virtue of ample parking and a two sided stadium. I remember traveling to St Pius before and it was one of the worst venues I’ve ever been too when it comes to seating and parking for the visitors.

@Region 7-AAA
I’m sure North Hall’s two sided stadium is great if you are the home team. If you are a visitor you get a low rake aluminum bleacher with a lousy view. And you get no half time show. And the “ample parking” was in some nice lady’s front yard about half a mile from the stadium – for $5. And, come to think of it, I tell everybody what a great place it is to see a game!

Suck it up and come on down to cheer for your guys in their last game ; )

@kidsballcoach — It’s actually the 4th straight year.

@Hamilton — If you actually paid for parking, you didn’t look hard enough, or just didn’t want to walk a bit. And if you think our visitors stands have a lousy view, you must like being far from the action, because the front row of our bleachers are only 22 feet from the sideline.

That said, looking forward to returning to the banks of North Fork Peachtree Creek.

Hamilton… You must not have looked hard for parking. And as for the half a mile away comment. You’re full of s**t because the two families who open up their yards are directly across the street. And lets not forget about the “last game” comment. You know, it was words like those that I have heard the past three weeks now on these comment boards and hey, guess what. We’re 3-0 during that time and have outscored the opposition 103-26 during that span. So you keep on with your immature highly unclassy words. Peach County at least showed some class. Didn’t talk smack, play dirty, nothing like that. It’s definitely a different story this week.

All in fun, buddy, relax! I know we’re both old, but I’m pretty sure that this thing —- ; ) —— means something like “Ha ha, just kidding”. Now that I think about it I should probably ask my kids to be sure though.

And no, we didn’t scour the area for parking, we just drove up the road to where all the cars we beginning to stack up and parked behind the guy in front of us – kinda like we do at every away game.

You want a parking problem – try a Marist game! You park right by the stadium you usually can’t leave until Saturday. ; ) (oops i did it again)

Bumstead,
Just being 22 yards from the side line is not my idea of a good seat – getting a little elevation is the ticket. Surely you have noticed that the home side has a much steeper rake than the visitor side. I’ll take the view from our visitor seats over yours any day.

Safe travels and see you Friday!

We at SPX are very proud of George B. Maloof stadium. We are thankful for the members of the SPX community several years ago whose generous donations made that stadium possible. Yes, you read that right. OUR community built that stadium. And our community continues to pay it forward for future members of our community. So show some respect, Region 7AAA.

@WolvesAreBackAAA; someone told me the same exact thing last year in the Dome, after the Calhoun/Buford game. I tried to tell em, just like I did here in this blog earlier this year; Buford didn’t miss a beat when they moved up from A to AA, and I would be very suprised if they miss a beat moving up to AAA. Guess they just going to have to find out for themselves. I’ve see Cartersville play this year, and they also have a strong team. Good luck to Buford and Cartersville from Calhoun. I’d really like to see that game, it should be a train wreck, but you know I have to be in Phil Reeve on Friday Night!

Truth is if ya’ll were AAAAA you probably still wait a second no probably about it you WOULD be in the semifinals. Can’t wait to see that game on Youtube. Good Luck to Buford and Cartersville.
North Hall you guys look good saw that game on the web. Man that really didn’t look like the Peach County teams I have been use to seeing. Lots of passing by PC early.

Hey Region 7 AAA.

When I build you a stadium and then have to turn around and build our stadium also, you have no room to complain. Unless of course you would like to redirect some of my tax dollars so we can improve St. Pius to meet your standards? No, I didn’t thnk so.

Hey Mike… Tax dollars paid 0% of North Hall’s stadium. Lord knows they used to play on practically nothing and through the years, especially the past decade, support has rolled in, good teams have come and gone, new stands have gone up and all because of a great fan base. How about stop your complaining and go build SPX a stadium.

7 AAA, Impressed you can spell respect after that comment to Jan, it’s a sports vent and so far your vent has been focused on SPX. Thanks to Jan for calling you out. As for the SPX stadium:
NH has about 5 feet of sideline for the visiting team; SPX 20 ft+. Visitors have a private locker room with easy access to their buses and staff.George B Maloof stadium is estimated to seat 5k people and provides easy access to facilities and one of the best concessions stands in the state with no long lines. Our parking and security management plan generates numerous compliments each week and we have more than ample FREE parking available. Using the secure offsite parking is easier for our guests to arrive and depart the games while walking a shorter distance than is involved in most schools on campus parking. The truth is 7AAA lost the toss and perhaps NH has some anxiety about playing in George Maloof Stadium based on past performance. See ypu Friday Night.

North Hall offers free parking. The $5 parking is from the families across the street who try to cash in on the games. They are not affiliated with the school whatsoever.

North Hall offers an entire visitors field house complete with coaching office, lockers, restrooms, change stations and showers.

North Hall offers 10 concession lines throughout the night not including the boiled peanut, ice cream and BBQ stands.

North Hall offers stadium side bus pull up/unload for visitors teams, cheerleaders, media and band.

North Hall offers exactly 22 feet between visitor stands and sideline hash.

Well, I think it’s pretty clear that North Hall is going to dominate this game Friday night based on the outstanding facilities offered by our fine friends from up north. I mean change stations, showers, boiled peanuts, buses pulling right up stadium side, 200 additional fancy pants seats that can actually be turned? 22 feet?! Who can compete with that?!

Smart a** Pius Dad. The reason I was stating those facts is because some other Pius fan was bad mouthing North Hall’s stadium with completely incorrect facts and I thought that was pretty low.

As for the cheerleaders? I have the 49-8 St Pius win on DVD from Hall County Sports Game of the Week and they looked pretty comfortable next to the student section all game.

It’s all good, Region 7-AAA. :) We are looking forward to a great game between our boys. Your club is definitely stout with the way you rolled Peach Co and it’s going to take a huge effort just to hang with you.

We look forward to hosting North Hall this Friday night. Please arrive early by 5:30pm or so and we’ll have some nice tailgate spots out front of the school for our fine friends from North Hall and we’ll hold plenty of stadium side parking for those with handicap needs. For those of you who can’t get there early, we are expecting a huge crowd so we’ve arranged free parking with shuttle service right to the stadium: http://www.spx.org/FootballWelcometoourGuests

Thanks PiusDad, Region 7- I promoted George B. Maloof in response to our whining about NH not hosting and your stadium being better, the only negative I pointed out was the reported lack of sidelines for the visitors. Please come early, ride the shuttle and have some gumbo!
