Stockbridge 7, Marist 3, halftime: Stockbridge quarterback Trent Earl scored with 12 seconds to play before the half to give the Tigers the lead. Stockbridge is looking to win the school’s first quarterfinal playoff game. Marist is making its 30th consecutive playoff appearance.

Yeah well NG gave Lovejoy a first down inside our own five yard line because of encrochment which led to a TD instead of a field goal so I’d say Lovejoy still got the better end of the trade.

Sphire needs to open up the play book and quit trying to control the line of scrimmage. The interior for Lovejoy is EXPLOSIVE. Screens neutralize the pass rush.

wow, coach Hughes of Lovejoy has really improved his short passing game from the spread. Didn’t see that last year. Trying to score right before halftime, rather than run out the clock. Punts to NG, first down NG at its 28 with a minute left

Finally Cam Lewis broke free and scampered for about 20 yards. I think NG has adjusted to Lovejoy’s speed and physicallity. Second half adjustments will tell us all if NG is who they are claimed to be.
