Where is Burke — their fans talk so much you forget they have only a few winning seasons!

So the city of Warner Robins, with 34, is tied with Lincoln Co. for the most looks like. The two schools there are only about 2 miles apart. Any other city have more than 34 total?

@Dum-Bass — Yes, Atlanta. Just on this list: Marist + Southwest Dekalb + Lovett = 55. You know there are a lot more too.

I thought Valdosta had 26 state championships? How is it they’ve only been to the quarterfinals 26 times?

@Only in Moultrie — Valdosta has 24 state titles. And some of those came years before we had the current state playoff format, when many teams played in just two rounds of the playoffs (semis and final) to win the title.

***WTPTG**** sorry, can’t give you SW Dekalb, it’s listed under Decatur GA, but you still got 40 with Marist and Lovett. Besides, comparing Atlanta with Warner Robins is like comparing a whale with a goldfish. ATL has a bunch of HS’s scattered around it in smaller towns, but to be fair would have to stick with the city limits. And that’s a little unfair still, since it’s one of the larger cities in the US.
Oh, and *****GAMER*** I was just making a small point which you obviously missed, or chose to ignore, just to be “snarky”!
I will now try to SPELL IT OUT for those like “GAMER” above. WR has two schools, about 2 miles apart, with a population of about 50K, that has that many QF appearances. AND now there’s two more high schools in the county that drain off more athletes. Clear enough?

@Dum-Bass — there is actually 5 high schools in the county w/ Veterans added this year. So don’t try and play it like 2 schools been having the pick off a 50k population for years. Cause your way off buddy.
