The Archer Tigers did not rest over the Thanksgiving break, instead participating in three tournaments and winning them all to improve to 14-0. The Class AAAAAA No. 2 Tigers defeated Class AAAAA No. 5 Kell, as well as Mill Creek and Rockdale County to win the Takedown Sportswear Duals. Previously, Archer took first at the Parkview Duals and the Allatoona Duals. The win at Allatoona featured a victory over Class AAAA No. 2 Gilmer.
Kell was able to taste some success Saturday, taking out Class AA No. 7 GAC 36-34. The Spartans managed to beat Class AAAAAA No. 10 Milton and Class AAAAA No. 9 Harris County, but fell to Rockdale County and South Forsyth in addition to Kell.
In Class A, No. 1 Gordon Lee finished second in the Heritage Duals despite being incredibly short-handed and giving up 24 points in each of their matches due to forfeits. At full strength Gordon Lee appears to have the wrestlers to do some serious damage later in the season. Etowah and Winder-Barrow two of the new teams ranked in this week’s polls.

They haven’t said anything about them, but who is still number one? Collins Hill!!! And everyone keeps talking about how good Archer is even though we, Collins Hill, beat them at militia duels without our full varsity. I guess we will see who is really the best at state duals and traditional state.

Got a fact wrong, I meant to say archer duals instead of militia duals.
