Dum-Bass that is what NS says every year till they get up here. Then they always pull the cinderella. Even if they show up to the ball they leave their magic slipper behind. Never fails. Northside is always the best team in the state (in their minds) but yet they can never prove it.

But seriously Todd 17? I’m like the robot in the Robinson Family… ” Warning warning, danger danger” that does not compute

I respect the grayson fans tremendously. Not once did I see the fans beating their chests and boasting. Tough loss tonight. I would have loved to have seen that game

Four of the eight teams left from Gwinnett. 8-AAAAAA goes 1-3. 7-AAAAAA goes 3-0. Norcross & NG looked great. Mill Creek annihilated Brookwood 56-21. I bet this is the most points scored on a Broncos team by 50, maybe 80 points, in a season.

Im glad I dont have to see that TICK TICK BOOM crap again this year. Cannon Rules your Paulding Co teams suck…They dont play nobody all year then in the playoff they are duds. I like how you a ride or die fan of your team and the ethusiasm and all but you pump them up every year like they gonna win a championship or something. The Paulding teams are mediocre at best. Like the BIG 12 and Pac 12 all finesse not grit and toughness

Propst has been taking his team of Packers up a day early for these North GA road games. Heck, who knows, he may just go straight from Newnan(or Peachtree City, where they stayed) and make it a week’s worth for Parkview. He holds the purse strings at Colquitt Co. High anyway, so could probably pull it off without much hassle.

Inthatranches…Definitely not Packs best game…You should have been down 19-0 but you got the fumble then the pick 6…Changed the momentum..Dont knock our team you guys hard we played and you lost…Our team from last year would have beaten our team from this year to but thats why kids graduate so that new kids can come in…What a crock

inthatrenches I’ve seen Colquit numerous times this year and trust me that wasn’t their best effort. I think the travel is catching up with them. After they dominated the first quarter they seemed to be sleep walking till they had to get desperate in the end.

Colquit often also seems to play to the level of competition they are playing in any given week.

”Thats why you still play the game on the field Mr. Holcomb”

You’re right about that. …

The value of Maxwell’s projected margins of victory is not in the predictive value. The value is Maxwell’s ability to rate how teams have performed to this point. Based on scores, East looked better. But nobody can predict this stuff. I sure can’t. Note that East Paulding beat Allatoona easily. Allatoona beat M.L. King. MLK beat Stephenson. And Stephenson beat East Paulding.

4 Gwinnett teams remaining in 6A. Buford still driving for another championship. I hope GACS is having a good game. Great seasons for Grayson, Brookwood, and South. Way to go Parkview! West Forsyth was a very good team, but they had not faced a Gwinnett defense.

Everybody else, welcome to the Gwinnett meatgrinder.

@GwinnettDad…3 of the turnovers were forced, which is kinda important to note. Our defense made a statement and did yall see my man #25 C.J. James manhandle Nkemdiche in the third quarter? Finally the Dawgs pulled out the big one.

I actually happen to enjoy basketball (women’s included) so I am good. Congratulations to all the winners, it is getting more and more interesting. As much as people wanted to eulogize Region1, they managed to get 25% of the remaining 8 teams……still rooting for Camden/Colquitt to bring it home.

Well, now that I think about it, if Propst and his Pack wins the state title for 6A, the school board in Moultrie may just sign the deed for the new school they’re building over to him. Wouldn’t surprise me!

I swear Colquitt is a lucky team. Propst can coach is butt off I will give him that but how the heck is he allowed to bring his team up a day earlier? Colquitt has that type of money for hotels and all I guess. We will that equal a chip. I doubt it. He better go back to Hoover if he wants 1 of those. Tucker and Camden are distant cuzzins and I am rooting for them in that classification

The NSWR vs Tucker game minus well be for the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. The team that wins usually wins it all. I dont know why the brackets always fall like this. I would love for us to play them in STATE. Nevertheless it should be another classic game like always. Much respect to NSWR. See Stephenson and MLK fans I do show a little respect to other teams when they deserve it. MLK go get ready for basketball you clowns. Stephenson you probably will be home next.

@ endigojag…

NO that was NOT ME that made that bet…LOL!

@ Dboy Scott…

However you want to play it is fine but to have an UNDEFEATED regular season and be the REGION CHAMPIONS is by no means “mediocre” and losing in Round 2 is no embarrassment, especially to a team as good as STEPHENSON was tonight.

EAST has to find a way to take that next step…they are close…real close, but simply can’t take the final step they need to close the deal.

Good game Stephenson.

I do want to say something to the people that said EPs and Region5s schedule was weak. That just isn’t true!! Allatoona our #2 just took down your #1 MLK. Last week NP took out another #1 team. Tucker 40 over NP 21 (a very similar score to the NP/EP game). What I will say is “On any given day any team can win”. Was Stephenson the best team today Absolutely. Do I think EP could beat them ABSOLUTELY, but nothing I saw today makes me think Region6 is any better than Region5.

Yeah Propst bring his guys up a day early but you also have to think about travel time. Most of the “good” programs are for the most part close to each other. When your having to go back and forth to Atlanta from Moultrie every week, going up on the day of would take a toll on a team. If you have the money, do it.

@Dboy Scott… Your mighty arrogant over there. Don’t let the smooth taste fool. Yes you are the reigning Region4-A champs & you were the number 1 team in that classification as well. But don’t arrogant & irrogant at the same time. Your winning streak was snap by Stephenson then you drop another game to MLK. So when the playoffs begin I am sure some of our fans MLK fans even some Tucker fans wanted to see an all Dekalb Semis. I know you only speak for yourself because you don’t speak for the other Tucker Fan Base

@CANNON RULES if you say so jack. Being undefeated and winning yall region is nothing. Matter of fact being undefeated without a CHIP at the end means nothing! #1 is all that matters in the end. 2nd is the 1st loser and 3rd no one remembers. Stephenson look that good against yall. Stephenson really isnt all that good of a team. They coaches are the worse. Your team just is not tough. 1 thing about Stephenson they are battle tested so you better come wit your A game to put them away.

@yo and Tommydawg….this Newnan team is as pitiful as I have seen a Newnan team in the last seven years I am glad for the Pack supporters as long as they do not beat their chests like they took it….They were the better team…. they were favored… we put out a pee wee effort and still came close? that says alot….for 3 of the last 4 seasons we were the hunted and underacheived when we got close… we choked…… this current group played C level not A level football…they know it and Newnan fans know it… this group as a whole were more promising at the start of their High School football play than the Ogletrees were….alot of that is coaching…if Newnan would have brought their A game the pack would be doing their namesake and packing it up until spring Congrats Colquit you got a bye tonight!
