How about that invincible Region 1??? Taking a whipping from Cobb County tonight!! Marietta whipping mighty Liwndes on the road, and north Cobb put a BEATDOWN on poor Valdosta. McEachern-Colquitt still in doubt.

Lassiter just folded in 2nd half. Credit to brookwood but I can’t believe lassiter played like that. Have to question the play calling.

The last time those teams played, Brookwood was #1 and Lassiter won. That was the Corky Kell last year.
I guess Brookwood got more than even with this one.

Now I have seen the worst officiating in h.s. football. East pulled it out 31-23 but did it playing against the refs all night didn’t make it easy. Now we have to wait until tommorrow to find out who we host in round 2. Way to go Raiders!!!!

Brookwood gave up 42 points to Grayson, 42 points to South Gwinnett, and somehow, Lassiter, the passing team, with the great QB, only gets 21 and loses? I didn’t see the game. What the H happened?

We’re sure seeing why Cobb County hasn’t won the State in the largest qualifcation for eons. McEachern behind 30-21. Not a surprise. McEachern folded in 2009 with a GREAT undefeated team to Brookwood 20-10 in the first round, and that was after McEachern had clobbered Brookwood in the dome that same year to open the season.
