Well if it gets to the semi-final Round EAST (#3) would have to beat BOTH N.S.W.R.(#1)
& M.L.K (#2)….
EAST and N.S.W.R. are both on the left side of the bracket so the earliest they could meet would be the Semi-Final Round, EAST would have to win this game and THEN face M.L.K. in the Dome for the State final!
THAT’S a TALL hill for any team to climb!!!
But let’s get there first, LOT of great football between now and then…

If EP is going to make a title run, this is the squad to do it. This year has been great, however, with the timid play of first yeard head coach Goddard, I’ll be surprised if it does happen. The talent is there, but the head coach is a little too safe. However this happens, I’m looking forward to every playoff game, especially a show down with Stephenson or Ware County. Should be a great post-season.

Cannon – No guarantees for Northside or MLK although they look strong. I’m pretty sure Flowery Branch, Whitewater, Warner Robins, Kell and Gainesville think they have a chance too. I think coach is fine and gets extra credit for opening in the shotgun last week. Hard to judge Goddard or the team with the lack of competition.
East should have a warm-up with Clarke Central but then 4 tough games no matter who advances. It’s hard to read how good Region 6 was too as they mostly beat up on each other. It will be nice to have Stephenson come to our place.

Let’s worry about Clark Central first. From what I understand they have some really good athlete’s on their team and we will have to play mistake free football to beat them.

East can not overlook CC and I am sure that they are not, I also think that Coach Goddard is not as timid as you may think. East has been in control of every game they played including the South and North games and really never had to get deep into there playbook. Looking at what the team did on the field to Toona I am guessing Goddard has been waiting to let go of the reins until it is needed. This East team can make a deep run IMO.

@ All I have to say is…….
If EAST plays like they CAN (example…the ROME game and the ALLATOONA game) no worries…EAST could win BIG…35+ to 10 or less for CC.
BUT if EAST plays like the HAVE (example the HIRAM & SOUTH PAULDING games) we could be in for a long night!!
COACH has to let this team play up to it’s talent level…don’t be scared or too conservative…Let Mitchell be Mitchell and run the offense!!!!

@HeadEast – I would have to say the same about Region 5 … “Hard to say how good region 5 is”? Region 5 also played a full region schedule and with basically two teams EP & Allatoona … new to bigger classifications. Reviewing EP 2012 regular season record, I wonder where was the competition was? Region 6 has 6 teams that could have been a region 5 playoff representative and EP might not have been #1. Round two, region 5 meets region 6 @ The Boneyard, and the cannon will not be firing often as it was in that weak region play … you want be facing SWD or Mays, nor Woodland Bartow, Paulding County, New Manchester, Villa Rica, Hiram, Rome, South Paulding, or Lithia Springs.

Interesting observation – Which is the highest ranked #3 seat team and ranked above other higher seated teams? Answer: The 2011 4A STATE CHAMPS – TUCKER TIGERS. We are still a player in the game and we are not finish.

Can’t wait for tucker to lose fri.. We’re all sick and tired of reading posts from 5AReg6Fan and how his team is the end all be all of football. I start dry heaving every time I see he has posted because it’s always the same….we’re the best, noone else in ga. knows how to play football, we will beat everybody, blah blah blah. Hey Creekview, finish smashing that broken record for everyone.

@can’t wait – Thanks for the shout out, at least someone is reading my post. (LOL) Sorry to disappoint you, I WILL be posting even by some miracle Creekview dethrone the 2011 4A State Champs. Odds on favor, see the above article, is that region 6 will have a CAT in the finals and I will be posting in support of my region brethren … Got to stay true to my below tagline. (LOL) So, if you are tired of the below message, then you have all right to move past my post, or create a unique one for yourself, representing your team and/or region … would love to read it!!!
