Propst is a nut, you pepole in Moultrie have sold out for a football coach. The man has no moral fiber at all. Keep him over there it will all come out. Once a cheat allways a cheat.

Now I’m conflicted. “Radio” is an excellent, feel-good movie. If I were to view bksmith14 in that context, I would have to take back everything negative I ever said about him and admire him for his devotion to his team and to high school football. And in that context, I can believe he is 26 years old (as he told me a couple of months ago) and is developmentally challenged. On the other hand ………

We aren’t rude at all. We get tired of people spewing about our coach when in reality none of you know wtf you’re talking about. All you can really say is that he rides the refs. That’s it. He was grateful for a second chance in moultrie and has taken full advantage of it. He wins games, cares for the kids and puts a ton in college. You would be defensive too if your team got bashed by you clueless people on a daily basis. So please stfu about our team and coach. Carry on

I agree. None of these people have ever met Propst on a personal level. He made mistakes in the past. In my opinion (I know him pretty well) he is now a stand up guy. I would not want anyone else coaching a child of mine.

Propst helps his kids in more ways than you know and not just in getting scholarships. I know what he does because I’m at the same school but why try to defend him here? You guys won’t listen because you’re too busy hammering the guy. See you in Atlanta.

Why are you guys defending Propst? Let people think what they want…if he is good, he’ll continue as Coach. If he’s not, he’ll get fired. All I know of him is he kicked our arses when he came here in 09. He must be doing something right.

It was obvious that one of Colquits kids was coached to throw a chop block at Graysons running back last year on the opening kickoff. That is dirty and should not be taught to these kids.Even one of the commentators mentioned it during the championship while Gallman limped around the field. Might as well be New Orleans over there in CC. Then they cry for almost an entire year. And people wonder why the coach and the school are disliked.

Congratulations GHSA you fools. You let the south Ga schools ram this 6 classification system down our throat and walah Camden County snags the easy path to 6a semis. Meanwhile schools in North Atlanta with 2000 students face Gwinnett mega schools with 3400 students and you call that fair.

The real beauty is the thing you tried to fix A class and they have a world class CF where schools traditionally out are in via “power ratings” not record on the field. Swearinger and the GHSA board is a corrupt bunch of thugs bought and sold by the privies and mega-schools.

Fire Swearinger today!

The South Georgia schools rammed the six classification system down our throats? I think not! Really, what advantage did we in S. Georgia gain? Valdosta with less than 2,000 enrollment still plays the same schools, plus Camden, with 3,000 students. Camden was moved out of a patsy region into a very strong region, stiffening its road through the regular season and the playoffs. I don’t see where you’re from with respect to AAAAAA.

As for class A. How the GHSA wicker end that playoff system makes absolutely no sense, as you suggest. How can a team a better record miss out over two teams they beat who made the playoffs? Crazy!

Well I like Propst and the teams that he has put together over the years and the one he has now and next year. The guy simply does more with less and he gets the most out of his team every year. Yes we do have kids going to college every year under propst but outside of The 2010 team with Tevin King and co we don’t have D-1 prospects at most of our skilled positions on a regular with elite speed to change a game like JJ green or T.Jones on one play but thats what makes us hard to prepare for.Don’t get me wrong we have talent year in and year out but since we can’t out run some good teams with our offense it is the play calling that gives us the edge in most games. Heck most of the time its our turnovers not the other team that really kills us.In games against Camden and Lowndes and even Lovejoy their defenses were very hard to out run unless u have a guy or guys with elite speed. So in order to have a chance to win these games, the only edge u have is coaching and sometimes thats not enough but it does give u a shot in the end.I would rather have a shot in the end than to get blew out anyday.Well anyway when u guys finally stop looking at Propst then u will see that we are a really good team and even without elite speed on that side of the ball we don’t get blown out either but good luck to all in the playoffs. One day we will get a miltary base and then we can get some of those elite players but until then we have Rush and as of right now i for one am happy with it. Just glad he is on our team cause i would not want my team to have to play against him. Good luck region 1 give em @#$!!!

I see everybody wants to count out the Cobb Teams.. news flash, IF GRAYSON DONT PREPARE FOR WHEELER, THEY WILL GET UPSET! Wheeler is a sleeping beast. they have a 6′7 QB that can slang the hell out of the ball and a lot of playmakers to go with him. North Cobb will beat Valdosta. Lassiter will be in the Championship.

Forealtho.., I hear you on Wheeler. Was impressed with their playmakers and speed on offense when they played Lassiter. But the Wheeler defense is gonna get run over by the Grayson running game. One thing I noticed when Wheeler played Lassiter, was with the QB that tall and the center kept snapping the ball at his ankles all night it was just a matter of time before one rolls past his legs. And sure enough it did. Better tighten that up.

@ Forealtho..

Grayson went down that road once this year going into the Parkview game. Trust me that will not happen this week. As far as the 6′ 7″ QB slinging the ball that is going to be difficult to do running for his life or lying on his back. Looking forward too the challenge. Never Satisfied!

@Heisenberg You are correct about that center QB excange.. I think that was the first time that happened all season. Wheelers Defensive line is suspect. But if the Coach would play the 2 strongest guys on the team on the defensive line, they will be just fine. The starting right guard and the left tackle are monsters on Defense.. If the coach would gamble, I actually think they have a chance.I dont think it will be a blowout. I think Wheeler’s offense will keep them in the game. IF THE COACH DONT HOLD THEM BACK! LOL.. Like always

Just Rammin, I am telling you the Wheeler QB is not just a tall dude. He is fast, athletic, and can throw. I only saw them play against Lassiter but receivers showed good hands and made a few catches in traffic that make for good highlight reel plays. They got 2 pint size runners that are really fast. Wheeler will get some big yardage plays. But I doubt enough to keep it close in the second half.

Forealtho..

11:26 am

@just rammin.. I hear you but he has only been sacked 3 times this year. They played Milton with Lawson he was only able to get to him 1Time! In my opinion, Lawson’s motor is better than The big D-end that you guys have. It will be interesting to see.. 6′7 QB is extremly mobile and very hard to sack.As a 10th grader he was only sacked 4 times. If you force him to leave the pocket, he will burn you for 20yds everytime..make sure your Defensive backs are ready. Not saying they will beat you guys but it wont be a blowout. They have quite a few D-1 prospects on that team.

I will be honest I have not seen Wheeler play this year. I don’t doubt your assesment as I have no basis to dispute what you say. I can speak to the Grayson defense however and if Wheeler plans on trying to make a living running the football it is going to be a long night. Good luck to your team this weekend.

@just Rammin & Heisenberg Trust me guys, im not saying by no means that they will beat them. Im just saying, they cant play around with this team. If they had better Coaching, then it would be different. They are 6-4 but they could easily be 8-2 or even 9-1. Just be careful with them. They beat a very good Hughes team that didnt lose another game and finished 9-1.

Heisenberg

11:36 am

Forealtho.., therein lies the Wheeler dilemma. Use your 2 best blockers on defense and they are gonna wear down in second half against the depth of Grayson up front. I would not want a tired O-line trying to block one of their guys in particular.

@Heisenberg well look at it like this. Only on certain downs. just like they use their big D-end to run the ball. He gets worn down too. You are rite about Wheeler trying to run the ball. The backs are just to all. Lets hope the Coach uses his strenths, which is passing. He need to run the QB more. He only runs when he scrambles.. And he dont roll him out that much. I dont understand that Coach. smh…

@bksmith- graysons DE gets double and triple teamed on every play. i do believe he could do more with what he has but he is a specimen. i am sure there are a bunch of other players in the state that have more sacks. but i would bet that they don’t receive the same attention when it comes to making sure they are blocked.

The unfortunate thing about Lovejoy is after they have played 11 game this year they still will not have beat any body. In fact make that 12 games.

@Dawgma…Your numbers for Gwinnett schools are not correct and your argument does not hold water. Prime example…You should take a gander at the North Gwinnett sidelines when they play Mill Creek, Norcross, Grayson, Colquitt etc and tell me what you notice…Other AAAAAA schools in Gwinnett barely have 80 players on their varsity roster. Student population is not the issue…recruiting at the high school level is the issue. Their are only a handful of AAAAAA schools in Gwinnett that can be considered “Mega”.

BTW NG has around 2,850 students currently enrolled. Just because Mill Creek has the largest student population in the state does not mean all of Gwinnett County high schools consist of the same.

Grayson’s defense plays at whole different level than those Fulton and Cobb defenses Wheeler has faced. No one ever talks about all the other studs they have all over the defensive front and back field. They define the word defensive unit. They don’t miss tackles, they don’t miss interceptions, and they literally beat the offense to the ball. When they hit the ball carrier I’m sure it feels like all 11 guys are making the hit. I hate playing them, but love watching them go to work. The speed of their game is unlike anything that “giant” Qb has ever seen trust me. Experience with these Rams is the only way to make some one a believer. The game probably will NOT be close because once the Ram’s offense gets the ball…it’s keep away time. And they have made their living perfecting that strategy. Ne

grayson has played 1 team all year who had what i call a good defense….and that was parkview. Mceacherns defense is ok but parkviews is better.

graysons defense is very very good, but they can be scored on…colquitt scored 31 on them last year at grayson and lowndes 17 (lowndes worst team since 06)

outside of region 1, i dont feel any other team has a very good shot at beating grayson.

nghs09….i hope you guys dont overlook john creek…they have a good team. if you get past them , i hope you guys can beat grayson, north gwinnett has a pretty good defense and that qb yall have should be able to make a few plays if the north o line can give him a lil time, but haynes does more damage on the run. North has a shot…i would give it a 3 or 4 on a scale of 1-10…anything can happen

the only other north team that i feel cd maybe give grayson a run would be norcross, but i dont see them beating camden or colquitt

camden..lowndes..colquitt…these 3 have the defense to force grayson to go 3 and out as well…it would be a game of speacial teams and field position most likely

colquitt has nowhere near the running game they had last year and they dont have the tight end who went to UGA anymore either…that will hurt them b4 its over

Lowndes will have their hands full fri night with marietta and then lovejoy will be a very tough task should we beat marietta which i see us doing. I feel good about lowndes chances to get to 3rd rd at least where it will meet most likely grayson ,,if not north gwinnett. I would rather play north gwinnett…be nice to see the 2 schools play each other again..it would be a closer game this time

I only saw Grayson on TV against Archer and it looked liked they were playing their entire roster “in the box”. OK maybe not the entire roster but that is probably how it looked to Archer. Not sure whether that was because Archer is not a good enough passing team or if Grayson just did not care if they were. It sure looked suffocating to the run and short passing game. You are probably not gonna beat Grayson with 15 play 80 yard drives. But a balanced offense with a QB that can hit the intermediate to deep routes could be able to do some damage.

Colquitt Fan…when playing a very good defense….colquitt is not as explosive as last year…the only chance colquitt has of making it to semis or going to dome is if the colquitt defense shows up every game…..bc colquitt is not as explosive on offense this year..not even close…hill was on the team last year…sure he is very good. losing ty smith was a huge loss…as was losing woodyard who was a much better back than boatwright..and losing luna and shermaine also was huge….

lowndes held colquitt to 7 pts (offensively) lovejoy (14) camden (13)….

last year colquitt scored 34 on lowndes…32 on camden and 31 on grayson

the colquitt offense is not what it was last year…

i still give colquitt a good shot to make it to semis….easy draw after mceachern is a BIG reason why. all this talk about how colquitt does well in playoffs…..its true…yall have done well in the past with tough draws,,,,but this year its rather easy until the semis for colquitt

the defense for colquitt has to show up ..if they do then colquitt can play with anyone

bksmith14

mceachern playing at home will help mceachern….but colquitt should win this game by 10 to 17 points ..i dont think mceachern has seen a defense as good as colquitts since they played grayson. colquitts defense is very very good whenh they have it together. holding coffee to 9 and camden to 12 poves just that. They held us (lowndes ) in check also….lowndes shot themselve in the foot a lot in that game, but colquitts d was tough
