GwinnettDad, it is a very frustrating game for both sides I agree. Both sides are sputtering but then again, both defenses are playing at a good level, you can not deny that.

@heisnberg:
What little I saw of the 1nd team D that was in looked like tey know assignments. Gonna have to have some play makers step in in the front 7 especially. I think Fabiniak (sp?) and Murphy will allow for anyone else in the secondary to be able to grow. But seeing how they have built up the junior program and the way the JV and Freshmen teams played this year I think they have some people to step up.
Brookwwood should be a good test next week. Probably want a little payback from last year. But I don’t see Lassiter letting off the gas like they have so much in the regular season. More than a few of the games they won by 14-20 could have easily been 25-30+ point wins. Still, Brookwood comes from a tough region so they will be ready to play,

Wildcat2 – defenses playing well. Fumbles can be caused be defenses. But not stupid decisions, like going for it from your own 29. Or a too much time penalty after a time out. Dumb stuff like that has predominated. Missing open receivers. Not an artistic success. Nobody should claim that. I agree, however, that a good team can make another good team look bad. They both look bad. But it is only one night.

@Titletown: I understand your frustration, but over the last few years I remember how al the bloggers from region 1 taunted Camden that they play in a weak region and should come to region 1 and play real football with the big boys. Well thaey did come and ran thru the “BIG BOY” region n the first season at region 1, so for this first year, it’s yes they ran over region one. Next year they are from region 1, let me just soak and enjoy this.

slim, from what I hear is Brookwood D is a bit porous. Also Walton beat them and Lassiter owned Walton. So long as Lassiter D can get a few stops Lassiter should come out on top next Friday.
25 Roelle in the secondary is a junior and does a good job of assignment supporting the run and pass coverage. That is key for Lassiter defense. They are not big and fast but do play good assignment defense.
