Todd , Pack was looking pretty good , I think that they would have beaten any team in the state tonight…..Camden should still remain as #1 in AAAAAA.

“the truth”, check back over the last 2 or 3 yrs. and you’ll see that Colquitt actually travels well in the playoffs and beats excellent teams. Some that they were not supposed to. They are rather “scary” when it comes playoff time. Would bet some teams will be “scrambling” to avoid playing them in the first game.

Griffin 49 Eagle’s Landing 6 with just a few minutes left. Stockbridge was up 21-0 on North Clayton. Can’t find a score on the Riverdale-Locust Grove game. So no upsets at least. I really don’t like the play in game system. Sub Region Champs should play for region title and both go to playoffs.

LOL. Camden looses. Colquitt is Camden’s Kyptonite. They left Seagraves who run a 10min 40 run for a 70 yard TD. How funny. I flipped my twenty sand clock 5 times during that run. And I can’t believe after the zebras gave Camden the ball back at the end of the game when Ramsey got clocked and stripped. No way was his hand going forward. Great game by both. That puts Camden and Colquitt on the right side of the bracket. They might meet again. Good luck to all starting next week. And for those who’s season is over Great year see u next football season

Dobbs is a very good QB. I just have to wonder with Alpharetta if they can play enough D come playoff time to make a run. They have the offense to do it, but there are some similarities between the numbers Dobbs has put up to what Mason did for Lassiter in 09.

It was a good game. It could have gone either way. Both teams had turnovers (i think the same amount) and each had 1 big play for a TD. It was another good ole defensive South Georgia football game!!! I can’t wait to see how the other regions match up to our region. On any given Friday, all 4 of our Region 1 teams could win it all. We will see!!!!

Colquitt doesn’t care what seed they are or if they lose a couple of reg season games. They have shown they are ready by playoff time and this year is no different.

@ron…plenty of people said Camden could not be beat…and that they would, will, and had DOMINATED Region 1, so sorry if you are offended, but right now is not a good time to be a Camden fan on these blogs, it is called karma and it’s a $ITCH!
I am actually rooting for Camden moving forward, I still think they represent the best chance for a state crown from R1….I am just glad they got put in place during the first year in the LSEC.

Colquit (except for travel) might have the best path to the semis of any one from region 1. If they get by McEachern (and I think they will) it appears to get easier from there.

Don’t come down too hard on Camden fans. “Wildcat12″ had a classy post at 10:18PM. Just like any fandom there are a few “rejects” everywhere that get carried away sometimes.

Todd – 31-31 afte the PAT?? NOT SO FAST, MY FRIEND!! (Corso) watched the game on my ipad. How about those Lovett Lions? Great game. Huge win. GAC matched us punch for punch until the end. They got a great team too. Lovetts Grant Haley is such a stud. Next tear He has got to be a D1 recruit, right? And the Soph QB, Candler, is the real deal. Young gun has a bright future. Lions about to make a postseason run.

OH YES THEY CAN!! HOW’D THEY DO THAT???
EAST PAULDING 25 / ALLATOONA 7!!
It was EAST ALL NIGHT LONG…ALLATOONA had NO answer for the EAST Offense and the EAST “D” played GREAT. ALLATOONA got their TD with 3:32 left in the 4th quarter and EAST play many J.V. guys! Terrific game tonight for EAST, the only negative was a missed Extra Point & a missed FIeld Goal. A TD was called back due to a penalty or the score would have been 32 / 7.
Next Friday it’s CLARKE CENTRAL in “THE BONEYARD”!

Not shocked that Lovett won, but shocked that it was 31-30. Lovett’s offense has been very mediocre, but the defense has been great. Lovett #10 = stud. Also liked some guys on defense.. #55 was one.

First losing season for PRidge since 2004, but I might add that PR played three region champions, or four if Parkview wins tonight.

Camden74…my team did not, but a team from Region 1 did…so getting put in your place is coming into a region and not going undefeated…be happy with your Region championship, but for some reason, I do not feel like you are at this point.
