Didn’t realize Roelle was a junior. Yeah, definitely not the biggest guys on D like some teams or that 1 5 star guy that can open up things for other guys. But all of them do a good job of fundamentals (most of the time) and don’t get beat horribly on a pass play where the WR gets behind them. I think Murphy can be a lot like Clark was for Lassiter at CB and be a shut down guy that won’t necessarily have the INTs or tackles, but who people just do not want to throw towards.
Walton was bit hard by the injury bug this year. Though they have some juniors and sophs who got some very meaningful playing time and will be in the thick of it next year.

I guess the AJC poll will be the only one that won’t have to put Colquitt County BACK in the rankings next week.
Not that it’s the most important thing, but Camden had a pretty good shot at a national title were it to win state. Camden was ranked #2 in one national poll and top-5 in about five of them.

Could probably be a toss up who should be #1. I wouldn’t mind if Lassiter stayed in the 2 or 3 spot at all. Need to focus 1 week at a time, that ranking doesn’t mean anything until the middle of December

Watch next week. Colquitt comes off of an emotional win against Camden and has to travel to play McEachern next week. That will be interesting.

Look back earlier before the game and you will see I called this upset in Moultrie. In fact, I said I would bet $100 on it. I said I wish I was in Vegas and it was on the board and I would bet big money on that 17 pt. plus for Camden Co. Anybody that didn’t see this one coming, doesn’t follow HS football too closely.

Wow, got home just in time to see the last 3 minutes on TV of the Camden game. I predicted they would win by 17, Colquitt really did deserve that top 10 ranking

Colquitt county just proved how deep region 1 is…….i dont want to hear a peep camden 74………you and a bunch of other camden fans….all you guys could say was camden..this….and camden….that…Colquitt county ….as much as i dislike propst…GOOD JOB…….camden can be beat. Lowndes held that mighty wildcat offense to 200 yds and both lang and burgman did not play. At least we did something the mighty camden did not do…..we beat colquitt. When colquitt shows up …they can play with anyone. Good luck to the region 1 teams in the playoffs………grayson is the favorite now to win it all…….not camden

Welcome to Region 1!! Like everyone stated way before the season started, it’s pretty darn tough to go undefeated in Region 1-AAAAAA. Going on the road the last two games of the season to Lowndes and Colquitt Co. I knew Camden was bound to lose at least 1 of them games. Congratts Colquitt!!
