Lucky? Wow, you must not watch much football. They are thumping everyone, and are in the best region in the state. And no, I am not a South Georgian

Given the number of good teams that we have in GA…It would not surprise me at all if we end up with a 2, 3 or 4 seed in the championship games.

If Camden wins out and and just a couple more teams stumble. (In the case off CNN just one) Georgia could have another national champion. Good for Georgia football!!

That would be great for Camden County and the state of Georgia. But like somone said their are many good high school football teams in the state of Georgia. So it will be a tough road for our Wildcats. It will bea fun ride especially if last to the end. Good Luck to everyone this weekend. Stay healthy get ready for the greatest part of the year. Go Cats.

My guess is that Grayson will defeat Camden County in the playoffs and finish 14-1. And that the loss to Parkview was an aberration.

To all you north Ga homers who conplained for years that the only reason Camden was undefeated was because they played in a weak region. That was true but I will bet you that those teams from the strongest region in the state 1-AAAAAA would pay Camden anything just to go back to that region. They are all tried of getting their brains beat in every week this season. One good thing now is that the Camden will not have to play another region 1-AAAAAA team in the 1st round like they have had to do over the last several years. So now you north ga homers are going to have to face lowndes & camden this year. Good Luck

While Camden is on the top of the Georgia teams, there are others that are close behind. GA could wind up with multiple teams in the top 10 this year. That would be a good thing!

@still a dawg fan – There are plenty of good team in N Ga that face the same thing every year. In order to control the number of Gwinnett teams in the playoffs, R7 & R8 play each other in the first or second round every year. When Camden was playing R1 in the first round, it was always the 4th seed. Occasionally they would see the 3rd or 2nd seed in a later round. I think we can all agree that by the time you get to the later rounds, there are good teams in hunt no matter where in the state they call home.

Northside Warner Robins not ranked in the top twenty in the USA Today poll or any poll is a joke! Nothing against Norcross or Lassiter but last time i checked those two programs haven’t won jack! The minute a team from the Atlanta area meaning Cobb or Gwinnett is undefeated they want to rank them in the polls, how bout earning it first!

still a dawg fan while Camden no doubt (to this point) has shown well in Region 1 this year, you can be sure many teams in Region 1 now have unfinished business with Camden. We don’t desire to see you gone. Camden is not the first team to go through Region 1 in fairly dominate fashion and won’t be the last. It doesn’t make the region weak in that particular year it just means that team definitely has the potential to be state champs come year end.

A one year showing is not the final answer.

We don’t run from the competition as it only makes all of us better.

Regarding the playoffs it appears (if they hold to form) that the teams Lowndes and Camden will be playing in are the toughest brackets. IMO

So don’t be surprised to see Valdosta or Colquit make a run to the semis.

That should have read “that the brackets Lowndes and Camden will be playing in are the toughest teams”. IMO
