Y’all won because…. you ran your best back Swinney! But once the playoff come y’all go away from that. And, Carrollton don’t run the triple option like Marist.

I am not saying Camden is Bad. I am saying that everyone thought that there was a Number 9 next to their name on espnu tonight but it starting to look like a mirage.

Yo- left footed punter got ya again. Anybody here saying either Lowndes or Camden can’t beat anybody keep thinking that. These two teams are mirrors of each other and the only other defense I think that can shut them down like that will be Grayson or Norcross.

The best player on the Camden team tonight was the Lowndes quarterback. Open receivers all night and he never threw the ball. The second best player for Camden was the punt returner, who dropped almost every punt kicked his way. And the best coach for Camden was Randy McPherson, who wouldn’t give a second string quarterback a chance no matter how bad his starter was playing.

I love when you knock Camden they all play the “you must not know football” card. If you guys thought that Camden looked like the best team in the state tonight you boys don’t know a football from a pineapple.

I saw nothing special about Camden or Lowndes. As a matter nof fact, I saw weakness. Many of you think you saw what many call the best. That was nothing. The playoffs await and many will be complaining for some reason or another. It is now November and things are going to happen that blows many minds. Not to much more to day except be aware.

I could be wrong, but it seemed like Lowndes did not get more that about about 50 yards of total offense other than their first drive? Anybody have the stats? Where was the Lowndes offense? They have a good defense but I just didn’t see any offense. Lowndes was lucky they were not shut out.
Obviously the Camden defense had quite a bit to do with that, but Lowndes isn’t going far in the playoffs if they cannot move the ball. The Lowndes defense seemed stout, but Camden was content with ball control offense given there was no worry that Lowndes would move the ball. Not much of a challenge for Heron and the Wildcats.
When Camden did throw the ball, Lowndes was quite vulnerable. And there was absolutely no indication in this game about what Camden might do against a spread offense. I am not sure we really learend much from this game other than that Camden runs the ball more consistently than Lowndes. I think we knew that before the opening kick-off.

OOOH, HELL NALL… Are you on Bath Salts????
We ran the ball because we had the lead and were in straight command of the game. We didn’t have or need to throw it. You must not know that Sandy Creek averages a little over 200 passing yards a game to go along with a little over 200 rushing yards a game. We are very well rounded. If a team in AAAA wants a piece of Sandy Creek they are foolish. Sandy Creek is a monster.

Watching on tv I couldn’t tell if anyone was open, the cameras just focused on the qb. It looked like he had been coached to drop back, look at 1 or 2 routes and if he didn’t think it was open to just run. Like maybe the coaches were convinced the Camden rush would get to him quicker than it did.

When very good defences take the field , there is not much scoring. Lowndes was without their two best players and Camden didn’t show all they have.It wasn’t necessary. It was a very good and it was what was expected.

Sportnut,if history tells us anything about the wing-T offense, it is multiple GA State titles. Just saying, don’t knock what works. Both Lowndes and Camden’s defense practice against it everyday. Those fancy offensive teams without State titles will not know who has the ball when they play against a wing T offense for the first time. Good luck to them.

I am not saying that Camden or Lowndes are bad teams…they both played good solid D. What I am saying is that Camden is not the best team in the state and Lowndes is not a top ten team.
Camden should be 5-7th. They definitely are not better than Lassiter, Norcross, Grayson or North Gwinnett.

Well congrats to Camden, a win is a win. But that high power offense that was averaging a bit over 45 p/g, just got held to 24, close. And for region 1, I remember over the last couple of years you claiming that if Camden came to play with the big boys they would not roll thru the region, well minus next weeks game against CCHS, the newcomer has rolled thru the region.

the diff in the game tonight with lowndes and camden was simple……..NUMBER 12….camden ran the ball nowhere on lowndes. We shut their running game down. We muffed a punt…..Our qb picked the worst time of year to play his worse game……wide recievers were open almost everytime he dropped back…..he just could not pull the trigger. Camdens defesne is very very good….that also played a part…..Lowndes was without its two best players…..and it showed…..one was on the muffed punt…the other was in our running game….
Not making excuses………camden was the better team tonight……..if we had our 2 best players i feel we cam give them a much better game……..but they are good.
ramsey was 2 yards past the line of scriimage on the last td camden had…….but game was already over…it did not even matter…..Lowndes defense did their job tonight…we had to play a perfect game wothout our 2 best players and we didnt
lowndes is going to make some noise in the playoffs…..

Sportsnut…….i saw nothing special when lovejoy was held to 7 points at colquitt county either. Just wait……..lowndes will see you in rd 2…..and i will be happy to make a wager with you on that game . We were without our 2 best players tonight vs camden and unlike a lot on here that did not want to admit it……i knew we were in trouble…….those 2 boys…lang and burgman would have made a difference in the game….would we have won? maybe not….
our qb for whatever reason decided not to throw the ball tonight. guys WERE WIDE OPEN
there is only a few teams in the state that may can beat camden in my opinion…..Lowndes is one of them if we have our 2 best players……but we would have to play better than we did tonight. We have the defense. Camden will tell you that. They ran nowhere. Jj green…all he did all night was the one kickoff return…..which prob would not have happened if lang and burgman were on the field. ramsey was the difference. Grayson is the other team. Norcross os the 3rd. Those are the 3 teams and i am sticking with it. Lowndes best team was not on the field tonight.

For those who are disappointed or not impressed i suspect you have never been with your team and lined up across from either team. Tonight probably wasn’t either teams best performance but you can be sure those two are legitimate contenders for the title.

Observation by Elementary: What I saw was a superior Camden team tonight vs Lowndes. It was not pretty, but a workmanlike victory. Camden defense vs Lowndes offense…….no contest that could be easily seen by all. LHS only score was aided by I think three15 yeard penalties on the opening drive. No other time in the game was Lowndes even close to scoring. The many turnovers by the Vikings certainly helped our cause and we will take it. Good teams take advantage and my Wildcats did just that. Hats off to Viking defense and holding down the Wildcats punishing running game…….that was most suprising to me. This game was never in doubt. Camden to big, to strong, to fast, to disciplined, and very well coached.

Lowndes played this game without their 2 best players….(both seniors)……and the game was 17-7 with 6 min to go with camden punting out of their own endzone……and #5 who was in game bc lang and burgman were out…muffed his 2rd punt of game……ballgame over..game set match……that ended any hope we had left.
congrats to camden…..the last td was a missed call by ref……..brice was 2 yd past line of scrimmage when he threw the ball. it was over anyway…..who cares.
lowndes played it smart by resting lang and burgman tonight. We will be hell to beat in playoffs…….camden is the best team in state right now……no doubt……and we are not far behind them when our 2 best are on the field

Congrats on a Great game to the Eagles and Demons , The Demons O-line came to play , not much penetration for the Eagles D-line tonight , they took advantage of Big Austin not being out there tonight…..Demons tight ends did a fantastic job sealing out the Eagle D-line , But as long as there’s Keyshun Hill , Gleen Smith and Martin on the field , no matter what you throw at the Eagles they’ll be hard to beat…..Don’t think ive ever seen a kid like Hill that can make something out of Nothing , Fantastic TD runs tonight for Keyshun tonight…….The Demons move the ball on the ground tonight . …If this carries over into the playoffs for them not many teams will stop them. ..I usually don’t complain about the officiating , but the quality seems to be on a downward spiral…The last 2:30 of this game was unreal.
