Wow Todd. Hopefully it isn’t too serious and it is a mild strain or deep bruise or the like. Walton has been decimated by injuries this year. Might bode well for them next year getting the younger guys playing time, but hate it for the kids.

Lassiter “stopped” Roswell on a missed FG. Lassiter looking sloppy tonight and Roswell showing that you can’t just look at a team’s record.

I didn’t say private schools don’t recruit. I said they can’t – and don’t – offer athletic scholarships. There’s a big difference.

Newnan 24 – Westlake 0 end of 3rd qtr. Sounds like they have the Keystone Kops as the officiating crew, though. Mass Confusion Reigns!! Yeah, Todd, Region 2 is weak, but might surprise Region 3 – except for Lovejoy. Oh, and really great story on SACA, very inspirational.

Win our lose tonight I’m proud of Lowndes tonight. They are banging heads with Camden. Camden lets both make a HEALTHY run through the playoffs and do this again in the Dome.

N. Cobb could be a dangerous, dangerous team next year and beyond. I believe their QB is only a soph. If anyone could break any of Mason or Printz’s career ranks it could be him.

Couple of qoutes from Poll Talk this week -

”I presume you all assume they will lose that game too since “we haven’t play anybody”) AJC will have their foot in their mouth all year when it comes to the undefeated Chamblee Bulldogs.”

”Chamblee wins easily.”

If you are watching the Camden vs. Lowndes game, here it is . If this what is supposed to be the best to offer, either from 6A or South Georgia, people are sadly mistaken. Both these teams leave alot to be desired in a complete football team. Given that they do what they do well, there has to be more. Where is the passing game ? Camdens defense is good against the run but what can they do against a passing team.? Lowndes is also goood on D against the run, can they handle both a running and passing team ? I see nothing special about either of them. Region 1 better look out for Region 4. The ability to put points on the board is paramount. When you play in an offense that is not geared toward that goal, it is hard to compete without a passing game. I just don’t see it.! The wing T is old. Both rely on it too much. Mark myt words, They (both) are going to have a tough road to hoe on their journey.

Thanks, P.P. I had been neglecting the SC-Carrollton game. Sandy Creek is well-rounded and has 3-4 truly outstanding players that make a real difference. Carvell says the OL (Knott?) is as good as he’s seen this year.

Ian Rigby is the injured Tucker player, a lineman. Tucker players left the sideline, now they are returning. Game is just restarting. MLK leads 17-10. That was a long delay.

Dude – AGAIN, I never said they didn’t recruit. Recruiting is the act of selling a family on attending your school. I would imagine every successful program in the state engages in that activity to one degree or another. Offering a student any type of financial support that is conditioned upon him/her playing a sport will get a school kicked out of the GHSA. Period.

Interesting event in Colquitt game. Colquitt has a 3rd and 20, completes a pass for an apparent TD but receiver taunts before going into endzone. They get a field goal instead of TD and lead 20-9

Start of 4th Lassiter 21 Roswell 14

Roswell DBs have made life tough to find open WR for Lassiter. Police just made a great catch for Lassiter though. Lassiter has run the ball fairly well tonight. Also believe Printz broke the county record tonight for passing yards for a career, passing former Trojan, Hutson Mason. Printz just ran in a TD for Lassiter, 28-14 now.

Also, some schools need to find out about OL Logan Doar at Lassiter. He is about 6′ 5” and somewhere around 300 lbs give or take a few. He has been a key cog on a junior heavy d-line as the only senior (I believe). Really deserves at least a look at some level…much like many other kids out there.
