With all the criticism of AJC ranking Lovett No. 10, interesting that Lovett moves up to No. 9 in the composite rankings.

Poor ole Tift County, the doormat of Region 1 AAAAAA again. No speed, no size, a decent QB & RB but nothing else.

Yeah and I’ll bet about this time Coach Reid is having second, third & fourth thoughts about leaving EAST PAULDING!!! The grass looks greener on the other side of the fence BUT it’s not always that easy.

I can’t believe tucker fell down to number 7. I understand they lost but they were without 2 of the 3 starting running backs. I do not want to make excuses but if Yusuf Minor was playing Friday night Tucker would have won easily. This lost was needed to humble this team so they can correct the mistakes and penalties so they can continue their dominance on the road to the dome.
MLK struggled with Dunwoody the first half last Thursday night but are still listed at number 3 in the polls.

Will Tucker’s # 2,3 play the rest of the year? If not why? I don’t want anything to be used as an excuse….

How are Lovett and Westminster ranked? Must pay off the journalists.

@Bobito…who exactly pays off the journalists and why? Do the rankings impact ability to make playoffs? Do rankings impact playoff seeding? The answer is NO…maybe the pollsters are looking at the fact that those two teams have lost most of their games to ranked teams in higher classifications.

@TuckerFan40 and @BcS2010 – At least you stayed in the rankings! We lost 1 game and disappeared totally for 4 or 5 weeks. Only now are we starting to work our way back up. In the end though, it is all good. It doesn’t affect the play on the field and that is why I go to the games.

@Tuckerfan40, Great post finally someone gets what we’ve been saying. Now you see the difference between 4A and 5A. See at Stephenson we have 6 backs we use, so if 1,2 or 3 goes down, we don’t say we’ll if we had this or that. That’s call depth. That what we’ve been trying to get across to you guys, now you get it. See your missing two players that’s why you lost is what your saying. See with us we just continue to move forward next man up, not depending on any 1,or 2 guys. I hope you guys stay healthy then, cause without depth at this level you will lose, hint (last Friday). Thanks for the insight now we no what happen.
