HAHAAAAH OK…
Seriously you guys living vicariously through your old high school team is really sad. I mean you guys know each others depth charts and talk about freaking JV and 9th grade teams. I’m glad my life isn’t that pathetic. Sad thing is you probably honestly really do think region 1 6A recaps should be on Sportscenter.

I would rather watch Region 16A highlights on Sportscenter, then the UGA highlights. I am actually glad I am a South GA football fan, watching them games are exciting and you never know who is going to win. Better than watching those North GA passing teams. That is worse than watching a tennis match on Novacain. The team whos defense doesnt show up losses by 5, because none of them has a defense. We also know how everything is skewed towards North GA football. The South has dominated football year after year but they loose one game and are out of the rankings until playoff. Teams like Grayson have one, just one undefeated season and loose to a non ranked team who finally scores their first touchdown. And are out of the ranking for one week, and never left the top ten according to GHSA, go figure. It really doesn’t matter becuase everyone knows that South GA football will always dominate, especially since we are know combined into one Region all because you all from the North wanted to try to make us small and insignificant. But as you will soon find out, that will be a huge mistake. I see an all Region 16A State Championship Game….

Bk…. Your prayers will come true and it will be another Viking loss and you and the othe Lowndes fans will blame the referees, the news papers, or bad service at the concession stand for your loss. The Vikings are a good football team with lots of talent, but you do not match up against Grayson. Way too much talent with an entire defense returning from last year. It will be a Camden/Grayson match up. Grayson will prevail to make it three in a row for Gwinnett (not Atlanta). Lowndes is not a factor this year BK.

How can you make a goofy comment like that when N. GA schools have won the title the past two years? What is skewed? Not only do we dominate in Football, but we own S. GA teams in every other sport. As far as Grayson losing, the loss was to a very good Parkview team. How many back to back championship teams has Parkview had in years past.? They will be a force for any Region 1 team to deal with also.

Falconguy45….i guess that is why parkview matched up real well with grayson…….
you arent in my league……go and get your guns loaded before you go “one on one with the great one” on this blog
lowndes lost by 8 points to grayson last year…..
lowndes o line is much better this year……the defense is MUCH better…..and faster…….
on the other hand grayson is still good…but not quite at the level they were last year…….For 1..the qb is not as good….2. ..the o line is nowhere near as good….
Grayson still has a good defense….but if grayson meets lowndes this year….lowndes will win…i dont care if it is at grayson or at lowndes…..much better lowndes team this year….

6 out of the last 9 titles have been claimed by the south………about to be 7 out of 10….then lowndes will win 2 out of the next 3……..
outside of grayson……..most of the other n ga teams lack a very strong defense……parkview has showed signs that they can play defense……..to me ….other than grayson or parkview……no team can hang with the best from the south this year….just my opinion…….yall go ahead and bash me all you want….
we all got our opinions…..

Falconguy 45…. I dont see Grayson making it to the championship game. They will be the second seed in region 8. which means they will play Region 1 seed 1 in the third round. Every game I have watched Grayson play this year, they have been sloppy and grasping for air. You all got lucky the past two years. Grayson didn’t beat Colquitt last year the Referee’s did. And if you watched the game you would know that. But it is over now, and that was last year. This year is what counts and you all wont be at the dance, so it really don’t matter. Atlanta and Gwinett will again be the ugly bridesmaids. Right where you all belong. And when it comes to the other sports I really don’t about the other sports they are boring to me…

BK…..
I was at the Lowndes/Grayson game last year. Lowndes scored on back to back turnovers. Outside of the sloppy first quarter play by Grayson, Lowndes was never in the game. It was a one sided 4 qtr game. Lowndes has a great program, but before you go off about Lowndes in 2012, you have to beat Grayson. Your 0-2 in the past 2 meetings. It’s not about what S. GA has done in the past. It is what has Lowndes done lately?

Again be the ugly bridesmaid? Remember we won the game last year and the championship. It was a great game and chalk that loss as a great game and get over it. You guys came into Grayson two years ago and beat us, but got blown out by Brookwood. By the way Region 1, Brookwood is less than 10 minutes away from Grayson. One School in Colquitt. Remember you guys are 0-2.

last year grayson had points off of lowndes turnovers and the refs screwd lowndes out of 1 td also …sad thing is the ref threw the flag on that play after he signaled td………then he said there was holding……..no video evidence of holding at all…….adn even worse…the ref was from valdosta…….
grayson had the better team than lowndes last year…..but not by much
time will show anyone who thinks grayson is going to win it all…….bc they arent this year….

To Gwinnettdad: Of course you are right. Good coaches adapt their offenses around available talent. The Lowndes program is the exception. They look for talent that will fit into their offensive preference. I’m convinced that if a true talent came along, they would still be primarily a running team. Pass completions seem serendipitous at best. Because they have no pass offense, their defense gets only minimal practice on pass defense. The only reason they are effective on pass defense is they have had a group of superior athletes who can apply pressure on the opposing quarterback, either sacking him or causing hurried throws which are prime for pick-offs.

Have to choose my words carefully these days. My post seem to be vanishing. Lovejoys only major accomplishment while in the largest classification was learning how to win. I will not preach any longer, not that this is what I think I have been doing. I will now sit back and wait and not worry. It is O.K. because I went through this last season. Trying to relay to the football world that Lovejoy belonged was a task that I let go once the playoffs started because I knew what was about to happen. Because they were a little unknown, people did not believe. Here we are again and the same attitude exist in a new year. I hope you make it to the Dome as I think Lovejoy has a great shot at being there. Good luck on tonight.
